Julep Korean Skincare Made Simple Face Wash Starter Set with Konjac Sponge and Hydrating Cleansing Oil

This is a very nice product and interesting way to cleanse the skin. The oil barely has any scent which is good and the whole process of massaging the oil into the skin, then using the natural pad that is included to exfoliate is easy and enjoyable. I have not had any unpleasant reactions to this oil. Once done simple rinse with water and you are finished. Afterwards my skin feels wonderful and is in perfect shape to absorb my moisturizer. The softness lasts all day. It is recommended that you cleanse twice a day. A little oil goes a long way so the bottle should last at least 4-6 weeks.

Regarding the pump (which I also thought was broken) -- put the bottle on the counter, brace the heel of your hand on the pump head, and press down HARD. You'll hear a "click" as the components pop into place, and it works great after that.I don't know that I'm qualified to write an accurate/helpful review, as I have never used an oil cleanser before.... However, I will say that it cleans thoroughly (I wear mineral sunscreen and non-waterproof mascara), doesn't leave an oily residue, and my skin looks noticeably healthy and happy even after I double-cleanse with a foaming face wash. Also the sponge is very soft, definitely gentle enough for twice-a-day usage. No downsides that I can see, I will probably purchase a full-size bottle!

The Konjac sponge is gentle enough to use everyday (I have sensitive and acne prone skin). The cleansing oil melts away all your makeup, smells citrusy and doesn't leave any sort of film. I would highly recommend getting this because the smaller size bottle travels wells to the gym. I have the full sized bottle too and I keep it at home!

I like the product. Unfortunately the pump bottle it came in doesn't work. A shame you buy something and it comes in poor packaging. I read this on another review! Vendor take note.

I'm super disappointed in the bottle/pump mechanism, it does not work. I love this oil with the sponge but its a pain to use since the pump will not work correctly, I have to unscrew it every time I use it. Because returning is such a pain I plan to buy another pump bottle to put it in. Attention Amazon and the manufacture I am not the only one saying this pump does not work, what is the deal???

Used for over a month and noticed no difference. I will not buy either product again.

I really like the konjac sponge, it’s not overly abrasive or too harsh for everyday use. Great for exfoliating and keeping skin smooth. I didn’t like the oil this came with, it has a weird smell that stays for a while. I’ll be ordering the konjac sponge again

The sponge is fantastic. I expected it to feel like a loofah but it had a much different texture. The pump took a bit of priming but haven't had an issue since the seal was broken. Very pleased.
