Safaripal Jeep Wrangler Front Grille Grill Angry Bird for Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Sahara Sport Jk 2007-2016 Matte Black

I bought the Ghost/Shark Nose grill with mesh insert for my 2013 Jeep Wrangler JKU. The quality is much better than the stock and not as flimsy. It has a real nice flat black matte finish (almost like a flat black plastidip feel) which accents my grey color very nicely. You can of course have it painted to match if you choose but i personally like the black accent so decided to leave it that way. it comes with a new hood seal which is pretty thick and seals real nice, assuming you can get the double sided tape to stick and stay.Installing was pretty easy, as is removing the stock grill. They even include new plastic snap pins to hold the new grill in place so you don't have to use your original ones and include the metal clips that hold the bottom edges in place. The only issue i had is the radiator seams were preventing the grill from sitting flush on the edges because of the mesh insert. So i had to do a little cutting of the edges of the mesh inside and loosening the screws that hold the mesh to move it around a bit and then tighten them down again so it didn't interfere with the radiator seams. The mesh is pretty thick and has a good solid quality feel to it and the whole grill seems pretty solid and well made.The looks of the grill isn't for everyone and ive gotten a 50/50 like/dislike on the look but its my jeep. There are many options of aftermarket grills out there but i wanted to retain my 7 slots and this was the best one for me in my opinion. As far as engine air intake for cooling ive noticed its running a LITTLE cooler (a couple degrees) than it normally does, maybe its because of the larger intake area on the top im not sure. I've noticed the difference in temps because i have a Bluetooth ODB reader along with Dashcommand so i can monitor my engine temps.

both came with the same defect the holes for the blinkers..didnt mach but i guess it was only with me .. i see the other reviews and they were fine. so i return it and now i am getting a expensive one.. i change it to 4 stars because seller seems interested in solving the issue. and that is really good.. i am posting a picture of another product but this one is from rudge ridge and is $120 dollars more expensive. but in this product everything was perfect... so in that spot where the blinker is supposed to be, you can see the 2 lines/holes that attaches the blinker to the grill in order to avoid falling out. in this product (safaripal) i dont know why but it seems that in the place they made it, the entire grill shift or move.. and you can see in the photo i am posting you can se 2 solid lines/holes, in the one i returned it wasn't.the perfect way of explaining it is this and at the same time looking the picture i just attached to it, and tried imagine it.in the blinker hole ... take the right line/hole that attaches the blinker to the grill. and imagine that during the process of miking that line/hole someone just move it to the left and the machine instead of digging in the same spot start digging or making a new line/hole right next to the first one.. so when i tried attaching my blinker you could se how the blinker will feet in 1 of the 2 line/holes but it will not feet in both of them because 1 on the lines drift or move a little bit making it difficult to fit or impossible..hopefully you might fix this.

Grill came with some nice scratches and gouges, poor job on shipping behalf, seller stood behind the product and offered me a replacement, besides that fitment was good,weatherstriping was not so good, this grill comes flat, as in unpainted raw abs plastic (pretty thick actually) i suggest painting or dipping this, i went with dip!

Grill looks good, no scratches or defects. Came very well packaged. Looks great on the jeep, only thing I didn't like was the large gap around the headlights and around the grill itself. Other than that, it's a solid grill.

Looks awesome, I love it. The fit was a little off, I had a hard time getting the clips in by the fog lights and really had to work the grill to get the pins in the top, but it was worth it.

Mounting was easy and everything lined up perfectly. The only complaint I have is with the rubber strip between the grill and hood. The white adhesive backer is visible. If the adhesive strip was black, I would have given this a 5 star.

Love the new look and it's a solid product. Fit is not exact though. There is a gap around the head lights. Not a big deal for me.

Looks great, only complaint is that the snap clips don’t stay in on the bottom at first. I keep having to push it back into place.
