Rotten School #3: The Good, the Bad and the Very Slimy

My son just finished all of The Diary of a Wimpy Kid series and was looking for a new series to start. I discovered these and he is now hooked. These books are not raunchy but hilarious and written in a really snarky tone. They are awesome for kids who like icky things and who have school-age drama. This one involves a crush on a girl and slugs racing. I won't spoil any more of it, but it's a good one. My son actually loves reading these.

I love this series. I use it as a substitute to read in my older grade classrooms. The kids listen attentively and laugh through me reading the story. Its funny even for adults.

really funny a way different breed of from what i usually read by R.l. stine one of my favorite authorsApril-May June Loves Bernie Bridges . . . she just doesn't know it yet.She's the coolest hottest girl in the school and Bernie thinks she should go to the dance with him.April-May won't even be seen with Bernie because he's such a troublemaker.So Bernie makes her a promise—a really scary promise. Another great series of books for RL Stine. These keep kids attention and have them coming back for more. If you are trying to get your kids into Chapter books, then get these. They are entertaining and funny and most of them if not all are worth AR points. They are a fun read, so good your little will probably have it read before the end of the day. That is a great accomplishment for a child to read a chapter book in less than a day. These are super funny, cool, and entertaining and all the kids LOVE them.

I am buying these books by R.L. Stine for our 8yr. old grandson. We gave him book #1 for Christmas and he absolutely loved it, that is why I decided to continue to purchase the series. The books do not take him too long to read which for his age is good in that it holds his interest. When I asked him if he liked the books his eyes lit up and a big smile appeared on his face and he answered 'yes, they are so cool'.My grandson and I highly recommend these books.

My 7 year old loves these stories. Great humour and lines that he likes to quote.
