Cetol Marine Light
I use this instead of regular Cetol or the Natural Teak finishes. Does not have near the muddy orange/brown color or dense opacity of the regular. I found the natural teak looks better, but does not stand up to the UV rays here in Texas. Using the light version, I still overlay clear gloss for a better look and protection. (Don't use gloss on steps!). If you are seeking a perfect wood finish and have lots of time and patience, use old fashioned varnish instead.

I love Sikkens Cetol, but the can wasn’t full!
I love Sikkens Cetol finish. It self-levels (removing brush marks), is incredibly durable and amazingly UV resistant. However, my most recent order contained a heavily dented can that was not full! The can was packed extremely well (even had an anti-spill ring), and the packaging was not damaged in any way. I can only assume that the can left the seller damaged and either was not full from Sikkens, or the seller removed some finish before packaging and sending the can. I usually purchase this product in person at a nearby marine supply store and have found partially filled cans there as well, so I doubt the seller contributed to the problem. This product is very expensive, and I want to make sure that I get every ounce that I paid for. Buy it in person if you can so you can shake the can and confirm that it is full before you purchase it!

A great all weather product
This is a great all weather product. I use in on my deck furniture and on my boat when I had one. It can stand up to the harsh mid-atlantic weather conditions I live in and a yearly refresh coat keeps my items looking great.

We used this product on our reclaimed teak table. The table had no finish to begin with. I was worried about reviews that claimed the color was orange. It's definitely not orange. More of a light cedar. I used the whole can to apply 2 coats, letting it dry overnight between coats.
