My Grandson wanted an analog watch. I am partial to Seiko watches and was pleased when he suggested this particular watch. I own a solar powered watch from 2004. This sapphire blue-face watch is strikingly handsome. It is just right as far as size goes. I enjoy watching my Grandson admire his new watch. The band is adjustable with link removal. It’s a bit tricky to remove the links but online videos give good information.He has had his watch for a couple of months and totally loves it. His other watch, before this one , was a Fitbit. Seiko is a traditional in our family. This watch is worth the money.

Easy to set up keeps time and date well. Looks sharp. Follow instruction on changing time & date to avoid issues with the mechanisms

I like eveyy thing about the watch

Overall I would recommend this watch to a friend, but there are some things I would suggest being aware of.First, the blue dial is definitely nice looking, but it isn’t quite as striking as it appears in photos. I was a little disappointed in that regard, but it does look nice. See the attached photo. The color pictured is pretty accurate to how it looks in person.Second, the case is thicker than I anticipated. Realistically, I expected it to be about 3/4 to 1/2 the size it actually is. Those are really the only two drawbacks I’ve noticed.Overall, I think it’s a good value. It definitely seems like good build quality, and the price isn’t so expensive that you’re afraid to wear it daily. I like the size of the dial, I have relatively small wrists and the dial seems to fit well. The watch band was easy to adjust with a ~$10 link removal kit from Amazon. It also matches almost any outfit, very easy to dress up or down with it.All in all, I’d give it a solid 3.7.

Silky smooth with some weight!

These were gifts for our Friends, and they are extremely happy with the Solar Seiko Watches. They quite wearing watches, because of replacing the batteries so I bought them the Solar Seiko waterproof watches which I am very pleased with my own. I have been using the Seiko Watches for quite a number of years and have never been disappointed.

This is a Bilingual watch, Eng. & Sp.. That fact that this is never mentioned in the advertisement, speaks volumes. For several days I have been trying to set the day of the week in Eng., if I had known that setting a watch would be this much of a problem, I never would have bought it. Now, I must wait till the12’o clock change, to see if I got it right. Also, 5 times a year months have less than 31 days, more resetting. Then throw in a leap year and I quit. Seiko, for me this is a fail. Worse, Sat. & Sun. are painted in a blue and red lettering that is extremely hard to see. Finally, 2 days later, the watch switched again from Eng. to Sp.

This is my second solar Seiko. Some people look for Rolexes but to me Seiko is the name to go for. This watch is very beautiful with an almost iridescent blue face and a strong, shiny stainless steel band. However, it's very difficult to read the time because the minute hand is very thin while the second hand is thicker and white. It takes a few seconds to make out the hands position to tell time, especially with the blue face creating optical illusions. In the dark, forget it; you won't see anything.

Ich habe vor nunmehr 2 Jahren die Seiko Uhr gekauft und liebe Sie immernoch.Die Uhr ist mein täglicher Begleiter und sieht für die Tragezeit und den Gebrauch immmernoch sehr sehr gut aus, wie im Bild zu sehen. Das Armband ist noch nicht ausgeleiert, das Glas hat keinen einzigen Kratzer und die Batterie, wie sollte es bei Solar anders sein, läuft auch noch.Ich kann diese Uhr jedem, der eine Stahluhr sucht, empfehlen und deshalb gibt es 5 Sterne.
