Fortnite Official: The Chronicle

Fue un excelente regalo pero me hubiera gustado que trajera mas paginas. Aun asi estuvo muy bien. A mi hijo le encantò.

The book is a nice handy size, great photos and very interactive!

First off, if you went searching for this book (instead of stumbling upon it by accident) you must buy it. It's by Epic and it is a surprisingly good price. I want to clarify for anyone that may not realize, this is 99.9% about the Battle Royale game mode. It only briefly mentions Save the World at the beginning, as far as I remember. Also, I know Epic also released a separate longer book that is geared just towards the outfits. I understand how this may need to be its own book, but it's slightly annoying to have to have multiple books for the information. Funny enough, from what I can see in the book preview on Amazon, that book has a greater level of detail akin to what I'm "asking for" below.What I do love about this book is it has a good amount of art and they broke it down into each season, briefly touching on some changes and the story. It truly is great to have as a fan of Fornite.The reason I say it is "Awesome But Incomplete" is because I was looking for more content to be included. I absolutely love that Epic even made this book in the first place, but the summary of each season is only 4 pages for the earlier seasons and gets progressively longer to 10 pages for the later seasons. That may sound like a lot, but a lot of it is large 2-page pictures - which is awesome - but means there isn't a whole lot of detailed content. I guess what I had been hoping to see is more of an encyclopedia of the costumes (separate book), weapons, map changes, vehicles, game modes, story, etc. All of these things are briefly mentioned, but without the details, the picture is incomplete. Something I viewed as a must have when I started looking for this book 6 months ago (before it even existed) was a full view of the island showing it morph throughout the first 10 seasons, but this book does not include a single full-map picture.A secondary, very minor gripe, is that the print quality is mediocre. I'm sure that's how they were able to keep the book so cheap (again, awesome), but the vivid colors of Fortnite don't pop out of the book at you.Epic, if you're listening, this is an amazing start and thank you, but please consider a more detailed version that expands on the details of the truly incredible, culturally-significant game you created. I know it would cost a lot more to quadruple (or more) the pages and improve the print quality, but a game of this caliber deserves a a matching caliber book. Great book for my son. The diction is right at his level where he can speed read this which gives him more confidence!

My son received this book in the mail today to find out it is bound upside down.
