The main thing was finding the right product, and I can say this did exactly what I needed it to do. Great for managing multiple systems on a single monitor.

ports are failing
I had this kvm switch for less than a week and one of the ports have already failed. If you get this kvm switch expect failed ports, so if need 8 ports, either get one with 16 ports or go with another kvm switch

Cheap, died in 6 months.
Worked for 6 months then the VGA ports stopped working.
