Pebeo Gilding Wax, 30 ML, Silver

This stuff is great! A tiny bit goes a long way to add a silvery shine. Very concentrated. It smells strong like solvent, so applying with bare fingers is probably a bad idea but I did it anyway. Worked great over chalk paint and brass. Sealed with a water base sealant over the paint. It does seem to be oil soluble so it's rubbing off of the drawer pulls from hand oils. A top coat of clear lacquer would have been the smart thing to do on the pulls. But all in all this little pot will last a long time and make all your stuff silver. Pricy but totally worth it.

This stuff is gorgeous. Use it thick or thin for different results and projects. It lasts a while I’ve had it for a few projects. I’m very happy with it.

Applied with fingertips. easy and forgiven to mistakes. Rich deep silver color. Will purchase again in different colors.

I was recommended to use this product. I needed to cover up scratches on the frame of a mirror and it did the job perfectly. Easy to apply. No wastage of product. You couldn't see where the scratches were so mirror looks like new.

プラモデルの汚しに使ってます。半個体で言ってみれば本当に金属を塗っているようなものなのでパウダーや塗料型のものより一段上の塗装ハゲ感が出せます。ただし、ペースト状のため少量筆等につけるのが難しくついべっとり塗りがちです。そしてペーストなので拭けばとれそうなものですが一度塗ったら全く落ちません。コーティングしないと手にはつきます。。総じて効果は高いですが扱いづらく難易度は高めです。

It should be noted that I never leave reviews, however these waxes are so amazing that I felt I should share.I have bought 4 of the colours in the range as I have a few up cycling projects. As others have mentioned, it goes a long way but you can also experiment by blending the different waxes to add even more special effects.The silver is on the light iridescent side, a tad blingy for me (but it could be because I used it over a white surface, deeper base colours might create a different feel). So I mixed the silver with the antique gold to create an old silver colour and that looks amazing. I deliberately did not blend evenly, I dabbed one wax over the other a few times in a pot with a clean cloth to roughly blend and then I applied it all over the surface following wood grain. It was for a wood mirror and I wanted it silver all over while not looking cheap and tacky as spray paint or silver paint might have done. This means that sometimes the antique gold would be the stronger colour but really subtly giving the whole look a more antique/vintage feel while looking clean and fresh.I have also used the King gold to accent the features of an old brass lamp that was looking tired and again it transformed it.I'm scanning the whole house for places to apply the waxes!
