Wholefood Earth Popping Corn 1kg - Whole Grain Popcorn Kernels for Home Popping, High Fibre, One Ingredient

These are possibly the BEST kernels I have ever used for oil popping popcorn. I am a huge popcorn lover and have been home popping it since I was young. The size of each popped is huge compared to many other brands I've tried in the USA and UK. The flavour is delicious. And the popping success rate has been consistently fantastic. I do often have a handful of kernels left at the bottom of my pot, but it's because I (still) add too many kernals at the start and the pot overflows -the final popped corn is so huge and I keep treating it like all the other popcorn I've used in the past. I guess I need to use a larger pot. :-) When I have a choice, this is by far my preferred popcorn going forward.

Never cooked popcorn before just made my first batch ever and they were fantastic added a little sugar and salt in a container give it a shake beautiful will be buying again.

Very Nice, yum yum. The only thing is there were a few more duds than you would normally get. But at less than half the price of that of Morrison's : )

Really tasty and great quality! All the kernels actually pop, so you don’t end up with those hard ones left at the bottom. Crispy, fluffy, and delicious — definitely worth buying!

Makes great popcorn nice size and pops brilliantly

I haven’t got a fancy popcorn maker. Only a collapsible popcorn popper (by HS Houseware Solutions) that cost me £10. This brand of popping corn by Wholefoods performed perfectly. Yes you will get some corn that has not popped, but I just put them back into my popper and re cooked at a lower temp. I have a 800w microwave and cooked the corn for 1min 30/1min 45secs. Less than 2mins. Wholefoods gives you a lot corn for your coins delicious and fresh. I have no issues with this product. Will definitely purchase again.

Id say no to this corn. It tastes VERY old, like it's been lying around in storage for YEARS. Definitely no.

Llevo tiempo haciendo palomitas en casa y este maíz me ha dado muy buen resultado. Los granos tienen un tamaño uniforme y, al prepararlos, la gran mayoría explotan, por lo que apenas quedan granos sin abrir al final. Al ser maíz natural y sin transgénicos, puedes preparar las palomitas a tu gusto, controlando la cantidad de aceite, sal o especias. El sabor es muy bueno y la textura queda ligera y crujiente, mucho mejor que muchas bolsas de palomitas para microondas. El formato de 1 kg cunde muchísimo, por lo que resulta una opción económica si sueles hacer palomitas con frecuencia. Además, el cierre de la bolsa ayuda a conservar el producto en buenas condiciones entre usos. Un pequeño truco que me ha funcionado muy bien es utilizar sal pulverizada con un molinillo para molerla muy fina en lugar de sal gruesa o fina normal. Al quedar mucho más fina, se adhiere mucho mejor a las palomitas y el sabor se reparte de forma más uniforme, sin que la sal acabe acumulada en el fondo del bol. Como único detalle, el resultado depende bastante del método de preparación y de usar la temperatura adecuada. Si el fuego es demasiado bajo o demasiado alto, puede quedar algún grano sin explotar o algunas palomitas pueden dorarse más de la cuenta. Me ha parecido un producto de muy buena calidad, con una excelente relación calidad-precio y perfecto para disfrutar de unas palomitas caseras más saludables y totalmente personalizables.
