We really like the cases
I have returned 2 of these cases because they continually break on the right side where the on and off button is. We really like the cases, ok mainly because this is the only one we have found for our Sony Xperia Z1s that gives it some protection. I did cut the rubber case and dremeled a hole on the hard case so you can charge the phone with out taking it a part. That is also why I am disappointed with this case, because now the stress off that side. Balistic Company, PLEASE make a case for this phone!!!!

On to the finer points, the belt clip+extra outer shell combo is ...
Just purchased this because it seemed to be both protective, not too bulky, and most importantly, cheap. After receiving it, I can guarantee that the price is not indicative of quality. The colored inner rubber is firm yet flexible, seemingly more durable than cheaper rubber/plastic cases I've had before. The Hard plastic cover seems extremely solid. While putting it on and taking it off the first few times, it gave no signs of snapping, yielding, or anything, despite being more than a little rough with it.On to the finer points, the belt clip+extra outer shell combo is extremely bulky. That's a given, but even if it might not be slim, it holds on to the phone tightly. As for the clip itself, THIS CLIP GRABS YOUR BELT LIKE A PACK OF WOLVES FIGHTING OVER A CHEW TOY. You just cannot get it to unclip. I thought must have imbued the clip itself with dark magic, but upon further observation, it's just an extra extrusion at the end of the clip, forming a nice overhang up and under the belt, complemented by a strong spring.The stand is also solid. Unobtrusive when folded, unyielding when upright. A bit hard to open at first though.Overall, this case has all the components you would have ever wanted for this phone, and all of them are very well made. In some cases, like the belt clip, almost frustratingly well made, but I'm sure most would rather it latch to their hip forever than ever run the risk of falling off.

This case was 10 mm too small for the Sony Xperia Z2 it was advertised for.

Works
When you install your phone, put the camera side in first (top of phone) followed by the bottom of the phone. If you don't you run the risk of cracking the case right around the lens because the plastic is so thin.
