Comparison of 5 anti-foggers
I compared 5 anti-fog coatings on my bathroom mirror: Cat Crap, McNett Sea Drops, Fogtech DX MotoSolutions individually packaged wipes, ordinary Suave shampoo, and Shadow Lake Vanilla Almond castile soap.I washed the mirror with a Windex-like ammonia cleaner, and rubbed the first 3 on the mirror the day before, using a plastic glove for the cat crap, a microfiber cloth for the McNett's, and the wipe itself for Fogtech. The shampoos I added the next morning. After another 6 hours drying, I buffed them all off with a microfiber cloth (being pretty careful not to use the same section of the cloth on different anti-fog coatings. I left areas between the treatments untreated. Then I took a shower. The mirror was on the wall opposite the shower; I don't think any part of the mirror gets more fogged. All 5 were vastly superior to no treatment at all. I ranked them, from least to most effective:5. Ordinary shampoo. The clear loser. The glass wasn't cloudy but had a rippled surface of water sticking to it.4. Cat Crap. It did pretty well, but had some rippling, and some globs of cat crap that became visible only after steaming.3. Fogtech. It had stripes in the last direction I'd wiped with the wipe. Although that could have been water dripping from the Castile patch above it. Unfortunately I added the shampoo areas above the other 3, which made them not precisely comparable.First & second place were hard to distinguish; you could call it a tie:2. McNett's. Worked great. Unfortunately, it's the most toxic, and has warnings not to use in goggles because of that.1. Castile soap. Only a little better than McNett's if at all. I should add this bottle was probably 15 years old, because I bought it for camping, and I haven't gone camping in a long time.SECOND DAY: Things changed a bit--I left the mirror alone, and on the second day the ranking was5. Shampoo4. McNett's. Got all rippled on day 2.2. Cat Crap. (Tie)2. Castile soap.1. Fogtech.

3rd container is no longer a miserable mush
Edited at the end and went from 2 stars to 4. .I've used this Cat Crap for several years to much success. Until this last container I just purchased. Usually it stays solid and I work it onto my glasses let it dry like wax, then buff off. But this last container turned to a gel that I cannot get to stay on my finger to apply to my glasses. I have to nearly scoop it out and then it doesn't keep my glasses from fogging while out running. I use it right before each run, and normally I'm good the entire run, or while out hunting with no fogging issues. But this last container fogs as soon as I no longer have any sort of headwind or cross wind. This matters greatly because I'm a visually impaired runner and need all the help I can to be able to see. I'm going to contact the company direct to see what how they address this particular batch.Updated 10 April 2016I emailed the company and they recommended microwaving the container, and letting it cool to room temperature. So I did so for just a few seconds and it was pure liquid. After letting it sit overnight, it was a waxy solid again. 36 hours after nuking the crap, I worked it up in the container. It started to feel the right consistency. And on to my glasses it went. I let it dry, buffed it off, and it worked like normal. No issues. Thanks to Aaron Johnson for the reply and the tip from Cat Crap. I may try the liquid spray next.the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I had to fix this container. It's a good product if used properly. I recommend it.

Works depending on application.
This product does work, but it highly depends on what you use it on. I gave this product multiple tests, and I found it does a great job but only on certain materials. I bought this for my glasses when I ride my motorcycle. My helmet has a pin lock so the visor doesn't fog, but my glasses do. This product didn't work at all for my glasses. I tried using the product then immediately putting on my helmet. That didn't work. I then applied this product daily for a few days thinking it was a built up effect. This didn't work either. I decided to give it 1 last test, and applied it to a pair of safety glasses from work. This worked beautifully. Seriously, absolutely no fog. I applied it to 1 lens, and used regular lens cleaner on the other. The non-coated lens fogs immediately. The CR applied side didn't even give a hint of fog.My best guess is prescription glasses have a coating that prevents this from working. My glasses are the ultra light weight lenses, and have anti-scratch, and anti-reflective coating. Safety glasses have no coating so CR is applied directly to the lens material. If you're using this on prescription glasses then CR probably will not work for you. However if you're using it for untreated plastic safety glasses, visors, goggles, etc then this will probably work. I'm giving it 2 stars because while it DOES work in certain circumstances it didn't work for what I needed.

Works great for the first hour
Works great for the first hour. My work commute usually takes me about 45 minutes. I can usually get about 2 rides in, which means one day of use, or 2 days if I don't mind my goggles getting 30% towards the end. I have to re-apply this product to my daytime and nighttime eyewear on average about every 2-4 uses of each. Kind of annoying, but it's either that, or have foggy goggles every time I start out on the road on my bike or sit in traffic or an intersection. It's the price to pay. Cleaning/application of product usually takes me about 4-5 minutes.

First time use and it's looking great
I did some checking around before I bought this product. It seemed there are plenty of people who use this product and are willing to recommend it to others. I've used it once so far and was impressed with it. I have an HJC IS-16 helmet and used it on both the visor and the inner visor. Both cleaned up nicely and were very clear after use. I tried to get them to fog up but they didn't even seem to notice after treatment. I have used other products before but always needed to reapply because they would never really work after the first use. I will see how it works out with the cold weather coming up but so far I'm liking it.
