Kaytee Super Sleeper Sleep-E-Tent

This is the second sleep-e-tent I have bought. My three ferrets like to sleep in it and just hang out together. The three of them all fit in it, but they lay on top of each other to do so. They really like the hole cut out and stick their heads out through it to sleep, which is really cute.There are a couple cons to this sleeper, though. I tried to hang it like it shows in the picture, in a triangle shape with the zippers all up. It was super wobbly that way so the ferrets had a hard time even getting in it. When they did get in it, the zippers all came down anyways, so I ended up putting it in a hammock shape with two zippers up, and that seems to work just fine. It holds up just as well as any hammock I have bought, but the my fuzzies love to dig at the fleece inside to create "bedding" for themselves, so that is why I am buying my second. The first one lasted probably about 6 months, but it was pretty damaged when I gave in and got the second.Overall, they enjoy it and even though it isnt their favorite sleeping place, they use it quite often. So I will probably be buying another in about 6 months =)

Though my squirrel ripped it up, as she did many other things, it’s her favorite hideout. I had other types of hideout in the cage but she still chose this hanging tent.

I bought this for my 4 year old ferret. She managed to tear the interior lining loose within a week. She also has issues with getting her nails stuck in the interior lining even after her nails have been clipped. The zippers do not stay zipped very well and she has fallen out of it. We use it now mainly to replace her favorite hammock while we are washing it.

My pets, chinchillas and rats, are dear to me.. vermin, they are very cool. But, I've had a lot of problems purchasing bedding, cage toys and the like that are inferior- as I'm sure many others have. This does NOT fall into the category of failed purchases. I was impressed that the waterproof materials are not only reinforced, but have a very nice reversibility that allows for easier cleaning. The clips are woven in tightly, as some of you, like me, must have chewers, and can appreciate a tightly clamped hanging bed. (I also dab a little cinnamon oil to help keep curious nibblers away. ) Sturdy, yes, cleans easy, yes, and oh, didn't add, but should- happily fits four large male chinchillas without a problem.

I bought this because I got tired of always having hammocks in the cage, and I wanted something a little different. Well, it turns out my little fury friends are quite content with their hammocks because they will only sleep in this when in hammock position. They won't ever get in when it's in the triangle/cube position. I like this product, but I could've spent my money on a better hammock.I will say, that I am not a fan of the bottom when all the zippers are zipped because if a ferret was sleeping in there, the floor of it is just fabric so it gets pushed down a lot and may not be the most comfortable for the ferret.

I'm really impressed with the quality of this ferret sleeper. The material is very sturdy and I think it will last a lot longer than previous ones I have purchased through local pet stores. My ferret can be a little rough with her sleepers, playing and chewing on the material and zippers, so this is the fourth sleeper I've purchased. It's definitely the nicest one! The size is big enough for my ferret to climb into easily, and she prefers to sleep coiled up, so this works perfectly for her. The clips are very secure and attach nicely to the cage.

My ferrets are very destructive, and they chew and destroy most any hammock i give them. They are slowly making their way through this one, though to be fair it is taking them much much longer than any other hammock I have purchased for them. It helps that it is shaped triangularly and the clips are in one place and its difficult for them to climb up to where the hammock hangs. It is very soft inside, comfortable (or so I presume) and can be machine washed. The biggest problem I have with are the zippers, the hammock would be much more durable and useful if it was one solid piece. instead of having zippers up the sides.

My rats loved it soooo much....that they tore it to pieces. I really liked this thing and they did too, but now it's totally destroyed after a week of use. I would recommend it to anyone that has a small pet or pets that don't regularly chew their stuff up. I think that if I wold have had some chew toys for my girls they would have probably avoided ruining this thing.I do however prefer a normal hammock over this. Hammocks are easier to clean and my babies don't destroy their hammocks. I might get another one of these when I have some new rats, but I'm not sure.

Been looking for a while for new sleep nests for my pigs as usually bought these from Thistle Cavies Rescue. Unable at the moment to source these for me so had to look elsewhere. Would have liked a bit more "body" in the base of the tent but still very happy with my purchase and so are the pigs!

hi i brought this for my 2 rats its really nice and soft but was disapointed as i thought i would be able to put it in the rats cage but it takes up to much space but i decided to keep it as they love playing and sleeping in it when i get them out there cage

Very happy!Hammocks etc never lasted long as rats love to nibble through but great purchase!

Was disappointed with quality and size and the babes were not impressed.The zips soon broke on them and were not finished well.

I'm on my second one of these and it's almost time for a third. My rats adore it and decided to do renovations. They chewed through all the seams and removed the lining. 4 stars for how much they love it though.
