I live in a bit of a crappy city that has a lot of auto theft and car-related crimes. This is just an extra protection that makes me feel safer. It's only issue is that the key is a bit weird; you have to spin it around to find where it slides in correctly because you can't see how to fit it in, so it takes a second. But if that's what's required to keep my car safe, that's fine. It's super sturdy in quality, easy to use once you figure how it best fits over your specific wheel, and works great.

The Cartman Steering Wheel lock works and functions as advertised. I have a very popular car for theft and this will deter most thieves. It is highly visible with a secure locking system. The price is great. Very happy with this purchase.

I have three cars right now, my intent is to give one away and sell the another. All are pretty old, an '07, an '01, and a 1990 ( I prefer simpler cars that I can do the work myself--which is increasingly hard to find). I have also had one car stolen from my driveway: a Acura Integra, 1985 with only 90,000 miles on it AND a new distibutor AND a new fuel pump. I had two "clubs" from the 1980's/90's--all since we returned to "Urban" settings where I have had two cars totaled when crashed into while each was parked legally. They are heavy when compared to THIS one. I basically see them all as a "try the next car down the street" kind of detterant for the opportunist/impulse car thief. For MY use this is just OK, in that modern wireless power tools you can use a Hacks-All or angle grinder can cut through the steering wheel or the club rather easily--but it will make noise and slow the thievery AND I have kill-switches on two and the '07 has a decent alarm (but no electric power Steering or emergency Brake and is less microcomputer involvement). This will serve my purposes but ther is less steel involved where the price of such has risen too much.

This is one of the best security you could invest in and i high recommend this one because it helps keeps my car fully safe and secured better then a alarm.
