Sea to SummitUltra-Sil Dry Sack, Ultralight Dry Bag

I got this for a fairly good price on a lighting sale. Used as a bag liner in my hiking pack, works well.

I have a number of dry bags because I do not want wet gear ruining a backpacking trip. But I bought this sea to summit bag because it was the right size for my down sleeping bag. I really like it and will look more closely at other gear by this manufacturer in the future. It seems to be lighters weight and of higher quality than my other dry bags.

Went on a tiny 4 person catamaran for a snorkel trip, and this dry bag worked great to keep my phone/wallet/snacks dry from the salt water.The closure loop makes for a great place to clip a carabiner to even.Very pleased with these.

I used the 20L as a bear bag and it worked great! Strong enough to hold several pounds of food and kept everything dry. My friend had the heavier version of this bag, but IMO this lighter version was sufficient (unless you’re boating).

Have some already so bought more. Tough, hold a ton of stuff, helps with packing.

I ordered orange, and the label on the packaging says orange, but this is definitely a red bag! Otherwise it is as advertised. Silicone based water proofing is easier and more standard to repair, and matches the rest of my kit. I like that it has replaceable clips- no sewing or sealing if one breaks.

I purchased one of these on a panicked whim 2 days before leaving on my trip to Patagonia, Chile when I couldn't find my backpacks rain cover (thank-you Prime shipping!) I figured if I couldn't keep the outside of my pack dry, I could at least keep whatever is in this bag dry - life saver! It rained, it poured, it sleet(ed?), it snowed, it did all of that straight down and sideways - and everything stayed dry! Most importantly my snuggly pajamas stayed dry. This kept the few electronics I had dry too. Nothing is more satisfying after a long day of rainy windy hiking than sliding into my sleeping bag in dry pajamas!

For a very small weight penalty I have the peace of mind of knowing my backpacking quilt stored in a waterproof bag. I have both the 10L Wise Owl stuff sack and the 8L Sea to Summit and the 8L is the better size.

As good as they come.

Nicht allzuschwer, aber trotzdem wasserdicht, zumindest was die Test unter dem Wasserhahn ergeben haben. Über die Langlebigkeit kann ich noch wenig sagen.Werde meinen Daunenschlafsack darin transportieren damit er auch bei Regen trocken bleibt. In der Nacht stopfe ich die Primaloft Jacke rein um es als Kopfkissen zu verwenden.

この手のドライバッグを仕事と趣味でかれこれ10年以上使ってます。バッグインバッグならこれに勝る物ないんじゃないかと思うくらいです。構造はTPUコーティングの縫い目処理で他と変わりませんが、生地が超薄くサラサラしているので、物の出し入れがスムーズでバッグ自体もリュックないの収まりが非常にいです。開閉口のロールトップは気密性が非常に高く、空気を抜く事で簡易的なコンプレッションバッグになります。ちょっと高いですが、旅行や趣味、出張でも使えて、取り回しのストレス軽減の見返りは大きいと思います。
