I’ve had such difficulty finding a helmet to fit my husbands big head. He dtill has a little seam mark in his forehead after riding but other then that it fits great!

Did not fix I have a lot of hair

I replaced my old HJC helmet (CL17) with this i90 but in 5X because my old helmet was much too small and getting older.I have to say that this is the nicest helmet I've had. I was kind of worried about some of the negative comments about venting and heat build-up because I live in central Florida where summer can be brutal.But using it on our first 90-degree day, I removed the breath guard in the front and had both vents open and everything was fine.90 degrees is still 90 degrees, but the airflow with the breath guard removed and the chin curtain out works great. In slower traffic, I ride with the lower guard flipped up and the sun visor down and presto, it's golden. When colder weather comes, the breath guard and chin curtain snap right in.Truth is, I would have given $100 more for this helmet, but I'm glad I didn't have to.Buy this one or two sizes larger than you think you need to and you'll be happy.Treat yourself to a nice Ryde-Wear metal strap buckle too and you're all set.I hope this helps. 5xl is what it took to fit my hubby. Measurements didn't help the inner flip down shield on any brand. Since this one had a free exchange policy we decided to go for it. Tried a 3xl on locally and shield still hit nose. This one fits fine. Seems well made. Haven't used it rising since it's winter.
