Bell Console 300 Wireless Bicycle Cyclo Computer, White

I’ve used this product before and have always enjoyed it because of its simplicity. Although it doesn’t have my correct wheel number (I have a cyclocross bike with a 28” wheels), I only use it to know how fast I’m traveling. Besides the fact that they don’t have my wheel size listed, have a multi positional clip-in bracket would be mice as well. Maybe this is something Bell can upgrade on in the future?

I have used a similar model (black in color instead of white) Bell Console computer on by bike for close to 8 years (about 10,000 miles in varies weather conditions) with only having to change the batteries a few times. This model lasted only about a month, and I did change the batteries in both the head and the transponder hoping that might make a difference, but didn't.

This is a better model than the 200 as it does not pick up stray signals. Most of the time it is self starting.

In total, I went through two of these units. As others have listed, there is a high failure rate for these units regarding communication between the computer and transmitter. Both of the units I received from Amazon did not function. I purchased a third one from a local store and that one worked flawlessly. This is a good product, when it works, however given the high failure rate out of the box, I would proceed with caution when purchasing.

I really wanted this console to work; however, it was difficult for the receiver to connect to the main console. The batteries just kept dying. Not worth it. Super bummed. My wired one worked much better, but the digital screen started to quit showing all of the numbers.

I bought this with my birthday money just to simply track my speed. Half the time it says “zero” and can’t even keep up with me. At times it does connect my speed, but not often. I’m really disappointed.

Great little wireless computer. Very easy to install and set up and works like a charm. I have one on each of my bikes (road and mountain) and also put one on my girlfriends bike. Would recommend to everyone.
