5 Clear & Black CD Beehive / Cakeboxes - Holds 100 Discs #CDIP100BH (Beehives, Cakebox, Cake Box, Bee Hive)

I was looking for some inexpensive storage for loose CD-ROM's and DVD's, and was happy to run across these "beehive" pastic cases. They are inexpensive, but well built enough to do a good job of holding stacks of disks. The cases are actually made of three separate parts that come apart: the black, circular base, the black plastic stem; and the clear, cylindrical case. These parts snap together and come apart again, so you have some storage options when these are not in use by nesting the covers together and thereby save some space.Considering the quality and price, I would not hesitate to recommend these to anyone needing some disk storage space. These here store 100 discs each, but if you search, you can find different sizes from the same manufacturer.

2 out of 5 cases were useless because two of the covers they sent were incompatible with the bases supplied.

It's basically what I expected from a quality standpoint at this price. One thing you should be careful on is the center post. All of mine came disassembled and the tabs that hold the center post in place are VERY fragile. I broke the tab on two posts snapping them in...I don't think I could have been more gentile when doing it. I had to super glue them in place.For the ones where the tab didn't break...the center post is not very sturdy so I suggest gluing them anyway.I would never use these to transport CDs through the mail or anything...the center post would not live through the travel.

I had a wall of DVDs and CDs that were just taking up way to much space. So I decided to get rid of all of the cases and put then in these beehive containers. Each holds 100 DVDs or CDs and was well worth the price for all the space they saved.The product arrived in decent time and very well packaged.. lots and lots of packing peanuts to make sure none of them were broken. I would definitely recommend, order from this seller again if I need more.

I use to store my media collection on towers, but since 3 years to date the new 100 DVDs pack don't come in towers of 100 disc, now they come inside a bag or box, not good to store the burned discs on them.So I get to this product in order to allow me to store the discs in the way I like to do it.They feel well done, the pack comes with 5 towers, so one order of these have solved my problems, really good, for the price, the quality is OK, so if you need some towers, these are a great option.

I love the look except they come disassembled although I didn't know that that was possible. The middle part that goes through all the CD's is a little flimsy and feels cheap. Everything else is great though the base and outer shell are rugged.

Many discount DVD sales do not give you a cakebox. They just wrap the DVDs and when you open them they kind of go all over the place. These can be used over and over and are the answer to all my needs when I buy the wrapped DVDs.

I bought this to store my masses of ribbon spools for my various crafting and they work really well. I like that you can see through the container so you can pick what ribbon you want. Also keeps them all contained, not rolling around with tails all over the floor
