The product has a sweet vanilla taste, and dissolves well. If you are not concerned about carb/sugar consumption- it's probably fine for your purposes.I remain concerned about the nutritional profile however. I asked about protein and carb content (see questions), and I'm a bit skeptical about the answer. Lets figure this out. On a per serving basis (7.5 g) there are 2.5g of collagen peptides per label, and about 0.075 g of 'anti-aging blend'. Ok, that leaves about 5 g of 'other ingredients'. Note: That's more than 50% of the product weight. Label statement 'other ingredients' listed in diminishing order, as always: Maltodextrin (carbohydrate), vanilla flavor, xylitol (artificial sweetener/sugar alcohol), milk protein isolate, sucrose (table sugar), and milk powder. Thus, I'm not convinced this is a keto-friendly supplement.On a positive note, I have tried Verisol peptides in other formulations and am happy with the results after two months now. I should have read the label more closely before ordering, and now I've opened it; my bad.

I has to double check that this was meant for consumption in water because it did not mix well and tasted like I was drinking paint. Couldn't take more than 2 sips before tossing the whole thing out.

Why is it when a product like this is sweetened with sugar, it isn't too sweet, but the minute they start adding stevia, xylitol, or sucrose, it's not only too sweet but it also has that weird aftertaste.This one contains both xylitol and sucrose, and yes, it's too sweet. Taste is subjective, so you might feel otherwise. If I water it down enough, or mix it with iced coffee instead of water, it isn't so bad. There's a mild vanilla flavor.That being said, I like the other ingredients. Anti-aging blend including hyaluronic acid? Count me in!I also very much like the fact that they recommend taking this on an empty stomach. Too often I have to do my own research to find the best way of taking a supplement.Another nice thing, this is quality supplement that doesn't break the bank.

I can't handle supplements with xylitol, I'd rather it be real sugar. Also keep away from pets because xylitol can be toxic to some pets, particularly dogs because it can cause low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) even with just a tiny amount. With that being said, I didn't care for the flavor, either. I'm disappointed because I've found collagen peptides to be very beneficial for my knee cartilage issues.
