Got refurbished model (it was advertised "new"), but Amazon helped, and it works fine. NEW YORK SALES 👎
As I mentioned above, I got mine through Amazon Prime, sold by New York Sales. The description could not have been clearer -- "NEW." I opened the box not to find Sony packaging, but, brown cardboard with a receipt indicating "refurbished." Clearly, not what I bargained for.Called Amazon, who are always responsive and pretty amazing, and spoke with a, "Curly Ann." She kicks butt. Got the player working, and, they offered me a choice of a 25% refund of money or replacement. Totally fair.The unit had some surface scratches, which I could give a squat about really, but seems to work fine. I'm only using it for SACD's and that's it. As for New York Sales, in their defense, the refurbished one works fine. If it breaks, I ma German Suplex the BD player.Thanks Amazon and Curly Ann!

Not to HAPPY!!
This was a gift to my brother and it wasn't working as it should, I would have returned it but my brother decided that he should keep it an fix it. It seemed as if it was a returned item or referbish. Not to HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

Works great with new or old TVs
This is the second one that I purchased. I cannot find it on the shelf anymore so I got it through Amazon. It not only works with the latest TVs but also the old analog TVs. I highly recommend this player.

Works well
I have not used the player very much but the initial impression is good.It is fairly quick to navigate and was easy to set up.Blu-ray playback is perfect.

The Worst Product Ever
First off the HDMI cable that was suppose to come with wasn't with it. It had a three colored chord with it. The Wireless didn't even work in it and I had the correct key phase from my DSL. Yeah so it was Refurbished which means it is suppose to be fixed. Well it wasn't and I have learned my lesson never to buy anything refurbished again. Because now the vizio one I ordered for my Dad won't come until after Father's Day Which is what I was buying this for.

Did not receive everything as advertised
I did not receive the HDMI cable with player. I sent message twice with no response or action. Still waiting.

Love it. Best blu ray player I have ever owned. All the apps are awesome. Easy to use and set up.

Refurbished / Wrong cord/ Dont Buy it !!!!
Must have missed information that it was refurbished. Did not come with HDMI cord. Came with RCA (red and white) type cord. Will be returning.
