We absolutely love this globe! It’s a great size for a child’s desk and the illuminated feature makes it even more fun and interesting. The colors are bright, the map is easy to explore, and it’s a great way for kids to learn about different countries, continents, and oceans. It also makes a nice night light. Very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it!

I bought this to decorate my desk at work. I have people coming up to me daily about how cool it is and asking me for a link to buy their own (I've probably sold about 10 by now, haha.) It really is great! It's a bit smaller than a volleyball, which makes it perfect for a desk. I was worried it would be too big, but it's just right. The light is just the right brightness that it's not distracting. However, it is bright enough to make an excellent night light, and the blueish glow is very calming. I didn't have any problems with chips or scratches. It's exactly how I would expect a new product to be. It seems sturdy enough for kids (maybe not toddlers) but definitely "mature" enough for an adult's desk or office. The text is easy to read and well-planned. You can see this when you look closely: they stretched and skewed the text as needed to fit as neatly as possible within the country's borders. This attention to detail is really great. They could have just used a standard font size and made a mess of it (I've seen plenty of globes like that) but the artists definitely took care to make it as good as possible. I'm super-happy with the purchase. I just wish I could find a similar globe for the moon that's at the same scale. I'd like to place it across the office at the correct distance because most people are shocked when they find out just how far away the moon really is.

Vivid and bright! Son loves it. Easy to move, if desired. Base is nice weight, power switch is easy to operate, too. Uses for nightlight often. Seems well made.

It is made well. I didn't think I would use the light but it really makes the globe come to life. The light brings out the details of the countries. It is small but very detailed.

My son loves this. It's a great night light plus it's made strong and sturdy. This gives enough light to keep the nightmares at bay. It teaches them about the world and where other countries are. Geometry will be the favorite subject. Well worth it plus it's just the right size it's kid friendly.

A child nearing 4 years old received this for Christmas. His Mom travels extensively, and he loves tracking her movements, and likes to have it on at night. It really stimulates his imagination, and it doesn’t connect to a computer (if I remember right). A great gift choice.
