Great vacation for hearing aids

It works.
I had purchased a less expensive aid cleaner in the past, which proved totally ineffectual. So far, this one's doing exactly what it's designed to do. I used to take my aids in for vacuum cleaning to the service where I purchased them, but they've now started charging what I consider and outrageous ($66) fee for that two-minute service. So, a greater investment in a vacuum that works made better sense. Pleased I made this choice.

If you have hearing aids, you need a Jodi-vac
The thing I liked least about my Philips hearing aids was there penchant for clogging up with ear wax. Phillips gives you a little probe to try and get the wax loose, but all it seems to do is to push it further in. The Jodi-vac does exactly what it says it will, clear the ear wax from your hearing aids. Plus, it comes with a 3-year warranty. Not many products can boast that anymore. We'll see how it holds up, but I suspect it will last a long time given their willingness to offer such an extended warranty.

Solved a lot of problems.
The Jodi is a great little machine that solved a lot of problems for me. Problems that I was blaming on my hearing aids were really caused by dirt and wax that I was not removing properly. The Jodi made this cleaning simple and thorough. This was one of the best purchases I have hade.

Works great, easy to use
After watching a hearing aid specialist use a similar product, we found this hearing aid vacuum on Amazon. After a quick one-time setup, we found this device is very easy to use and incredibly effective. Since it only takes a little bit of wax to plug the tiny filter canals of a hearing aid, having clean filters is very important for proper hearing performance. Using this device, it's like magic watching wax instantly disappear from a plugged hearing aid filter canal. Very satisfied. Recommend using daily.

Nice strong vacuum; could use improved instructions on how to clean hearing aids
Nice strong vacuum; could use improved/detailed instructions on how to clean hearing aids as others have talked about using it to clean inside their hear aids; YouTube videos with this level of detail would be good I specifically got this because the 8 beeps on one of my hearing aids indicated either a moisture issue or dirt where the microphones are. I also purchased a dehumidifier/sanitizer for the hearing aids at the same time, however, I still get the 8 beeps. The supplied needle on the end of the vacuum hose is too large to fit into the opening where my microphones are located...probably by design to avoid damage to the microphones. It would be nice if there was a soft rubber part to place on the end of the needle that would seal over the microphone openings as I don't think just putting the needle right at the end provides enough suction to clean these out.

My CIEMs came back to life!
Ok, I'm not one who usually takes the time to do reviews, and then easily give 5 stars, unless the product meets and exceeds expectations. This Jodi-Vac did. I have some awesome custom in-ear monitors (64 Audio A6s) that I regularly try to keep clean using the little cleaning tool that comes with the CIEMs. Yet, after a year or so, the volume of my left ear monitor all of a sudden became noticeably low and all high-mids and treble were almost non-existent. I knew it had to be some little piece of wax here or there that was the culprit. Bless its little heart, the fragile cleaning tool that comes with the CIEMs just doesn't cut it, and its wire loop is not half as long as it needs to be in order to be usefully effective. 64 Audio (a truly awesome company) also sells these Jodi-Vacs from their website, although Amazon's price was cheaper and shipping here was free. I also received my Jodi-Vac several days earlier than estimated, and the moment it arrived, I immediately went to work on my in-ears. Simple to operate and yes, there is adequate vacuum. After 15 minutes, I put the CIEMs back into my ears and played the same reference track to do a before-and-after comparison. It was like my in-ears came back to life, beautiful balance and true stereo, and all was restored in my left in-ear monitor, and likely some in my right, too. They just needed a decent cleaning. Yes! Needless to say, I am a very satisfied customer and happy with this product.
