Best Pop, no more wasteful throwaway bottles, delicous Diet Cola.
I love sparkling water and my waistline does too. Because I drink two or more bottles a day that would have meant 650 plastic bottles, just me, just two drinks a day. Now that I Sodastream my sparkling water, with my Sodastream refillable bottles, that number has gone to zero. My Sodastream makes delicious crispy water and diet cola that as bubbly and light as I want. This cola is my family favorite. No more aluminum tins, throwaway bottles AND the best pop ever. Four years and would never trade it for bottle or tinned pop. The Sodastream refillable bottles pack great in lunches too. Christmas perfection. Huge number of flavors. No home cocktail bar should be without Sodastream for sparkling cocktails. Even has Tonic!

Great taste
Taste is nice, the only thing I've seen in these bottles even at local stores are they seem to leak. Easy to use.

Use more than it says, it'll be fine!
I realized half way through the bottle that I have to add more to get the coke taste. I really appreciate it that there is no aspartame and no other cr@p in it! Cheers!

Incredibly Bad Change in Formulation and Obnoxious Level of SodaStream Greed
They ruined a good product due to their greed. I've been a loyal SodaStream customer for several years. Over the years there were slight changes to the diet cola and other flavors and they've always been improvements. Now, SodaStream reformulated the syrup to boost their profits at the expense of their customers. Here's What's New: 1. The flavor has changed and not for the better. It has a strange flavor that I can't quite describe. Granted, I've never expected SodaStream's diet flavors to be as good as the major soda players, but come on, this is awful. It tastes like something you'd get at a dollar store. I always appreciate SodaStream not using aspartame as a sweetener and fortunately they still don't. However, now Diet Pepsi is aspartame free, so there's no advantage there anymore. 2. You now need a significant greater amount of syrup to carbonate a one liter volume of water. It's incredibly insulting to loyal SodaStream users to charge them the same or greater price for a smaller bottle of syrup that makes so much less soda. There's no reason to do this except to drive profits. You still have to use a capful of syrup to make a liter of soda and by looking at the picture of the bottle you'd think it wouldn't be a big deal until you remove the cap and see how far it extends into the bottle. It's a huge cap to fill. 3. Once you open the syrup, you have to now refrigerate the rest of the bottle. In this age of sophisticated food and beverage science, do they expect us to believe they couldn't create a new syrup that doesn't have to be refrigerated and doesn't require twice the volume? 4. The cap. It's poorly designed and lends itself to dripping. I used to really love my SodaStream maker and syrup and would recommend it to people all of the time. Now it's quite the opposite and I'll share these details with everyone who asks or is contemplating purchasing a new machine. If SodaStream brings back the old formulations I'll be a happy customer. Until that time, they're going to lose me and many others as customers.

Sodastream syrups are OK, just very expensive for what they are.
It works as a fizzy drink flavor, but if you use the recommended amount it seems very weak to me. It's not much like the flavor of the two big brand name colas. My biggest problem? The very high price of the various syrups sold for use with domestic fizzy drink machines. Having worked in a couple of bars as a young person I know cola and other syrup is cheap, but this stuff is quite the opposite. It's also watered down compared to the syrups the bars used to receive from Coke & Pepsi (although it's quite possible the big names are watering down their commercial supply of syrups as well, I suppose). Anyway, as long you remember to fizz your water BEFORE adding the syrup (you'll have cleaning to do if you do it the other way round...) and as long as you don't mind using roughly two capfuls of syrup per liter bottle of water, it makes a decent cola drink. I keep one bottle in stock just in case I need a hit of cola-like flavor, but mostly I just drink icy cold plain fizzy water.

Tastes more like Diet Coke than Diet Pepsi
I was so happy, this diet soda was still available. Diet Pepsi has been brought out as a Soda Stream. For Diet Coke people, this was not a good thing - it is just too sweet. I hope additional diet soda containers will be available.

Diet Cola does NOT taste like Diet Coke or Coke Zero Sugar.
Amazon, your reviews for multi-product listings are broken: one product in multiple SIZES is not the same as one product in multiple FLAVORS. If you're looking for a Diet Coke or Coke Zero/Zero Sugar substitute for your Sodastream (or equivalent), this isn't it. If that were the worst of it, it would be three stars; after all, this is what it claims to be: a flavored syrup to create a sugar-free cola at home. However, this stuff tastes worse than the worst store-brand generic sugar-free cola product I ever had, that's why it's two stars. I guess, at least for me, it's Diet Coke/Coke Zero Sugar or nothing.

Great tasting diet cola.
Great tasting diet cola. We're not big cola drinkers but every now and then when we're craving a diet pepsi or diet coke we turn to our Soda Stream machine and make a batch of this. In the past, we'd either have cans sitting around forever or buy a 2L bottle that would eventually go flat. With this, we make what we want when we want it. I'm not sure why all the negative reviews but for us this is very convenient and inexpensive.

Berry Mix (Zero) is Berry Good!
Maybe I've been living under a rock Or maybe it's just brand new, but I am THRILLED with the flavour Berry Mix Zero Sugar. New no-sugar flavours? In THIS economy?! It's absolutely wonderful, both sparkling and flat. It has a nice tart start -- the flavours I get most from this are raspberry and strawberry -- but then some sweetness kicks in. Best served cold with ice, especially during our summer's heat waves. It's similar to other Sodastream flavours in that it's a full-mouth taste, unlike the Buble drops which I find are more of an aftertaste or not as saturated. I'm hoping I'm explaining this well enough so that people can make their own decisions as to whether or not it's what they're looking for. I think it is definitely worth a try, though. Especially if you have kids, have visiting kids, and want something for them that doesn't have sugar or caffeine. I am always appreciative of caffeine-free options, because I will just drink Pepsi Zero all night and be surprised when the sun comes up. These help me moderate my caffeine intake! If we could just get back sugar-free lemonade, my beverage cup would floweth over. I hope this helps you out a little!

Quite Good.
Out of all the diet flavors that I have tried, I like this the best. I found that most have a chemical or artificial taste that is not very pleasing on the taste buds, the diet cola does not have that off putting artificial sweetener taste, the diet root beer is also not to bad but it's not quite as good as the cola. I have recently tried the 7-UP zero syrup and it too has the chemical taste that the actual 7-UP zero does not have. If you are looking for a decent zero sugar syrup for your SodaStream or Spärkel Beverage System which is what I use, give the diet cola a try, I think you will like it.
