A challenging project.
I gave this present to my grandson who loves dinosaurs and complex building projects.

Great alternative to Legos!
My 7 yr old son loves dinosaurs, so I got him this for Christmas. He had difficulty assembling by himself, but with his brothers help (10 yrs) he seemed to really enjoy this toy. Large toy, and number of pieces for the money. Would buy again.

Great blocks, but will not work with LEGO.
My son loved them, but they ARE NOT compatible with name brand LEGO as the listing implies.

We didn't even get through step 1 before having missing pieces.

Pretty cool
These are really rad! My son loves robots, LEGOs, and dinosaurs. Can you imagine how excited he was about this set? He has a great time building them out each one as robots and is going to do the dinos next. I was pleasantly surprised by this set. I gave it a 3 star for assembly because these are deff a midrange level to build, but that’s something that my son enjoyed. It was just challenging enough for him, he really enjoyed the process.

Great toy for any fans of dinosaurs and building blocks
My son owns a wide range of lego and building blocks and by far this is best of all. Very detailed dinosaurs once built with moving tails, neck, legs and arms. It does however requires help of an adult as the instructions are complex to follow. In terms of longevity I would give it a 10/10 score and will keep your little one busy for a while, building dinosaur blocks and robots. I thought once you build the dinosaur it can transform into the robot version and that's not the case here, you have to build the robots all over again from scratch! My son was bit disappointed with that, however I prefer it this way as it will add more longevity to it and won't get boring once you build all the dinosaurs, you have another goal to build all the robots and enjoy the results ;)All in all, great toy and exceptional customer service.

DinoBricks!
When reviewing a set like this, its obvious that i'm going to be comparing it to a more "well-known-brand", whose sets i've completed quiet a few of. That "well-known-brand" however, does like to charge excessive amounts for their sets. So, although I received this product to review, I was amazed to see that it costs just under £30. The set arrived in a bright and artistically decorated box. Inside I found four bags containing each of the four dinosaurs. These bags don't come with numbered bags inside like the "well-known-brand" so its a case of tipping it all out and seeing how it goes. The instructions are straight forward and printed on one side of a piece of paper, and they are quite easy to follow. Some stages are quite confusing and the pictures sometimes aren't very clear, but with patience, eventually I had them built. I will warn you though, not to make the mistake I did. When I first saw this set, I thought they were like transformers, and I assumed that once you built the dinosaur, it transformed into the robot... but this is not the case. I wanted the dinosaurs, but I followed the instructions without realising I was building the robot, which cannot then be transformed into the dinosaur, so I had to take it all apart when finished so that I could build the t-rex. That issue aside, this set is high quality, and although I did have one missing piece, the pieces themselves do feel exactly like the... "well-known-brand".I had a lot of fun building these, and the final designs look superb, and exactly like the dinosaurs they are modelled on. For the price of this set, you can't go wrong. The stickers are also great quality and really add to the aesthetic. One small niggle I have is, the child used for illustrative purposes on the product page, would in no way be old enough to complete this set. I would say it should be geared towards an older demographic, due the complexity of the build, and the minuteness of some of the pieces. Even some adult may struggle with parts of this set, so children will certainly need a hand with some of it.Overall though, its a great set, and one that is more than worth your money. I highly recommend it. 5*

Good value but a tricky build.
Multiple models and multiple choices is a good start. The pieces work okay with official Lego so when you're done you can get creative with the mostly very small pieces. We tried to alternate choosing robots and dinosaurs as taking apart to make the alternative was pretty unlikely for us. It was a very tricky build so I helped our six and nine year old a fair bit. Good value alternative to Lego but it really was a challenge. The models use many tiny pieces in very complicated ways when there were many simple and less frustrating ways. The instructions had oddly angled pictures too so we found the instructions a bit tricky too. Also, these have loads of tiny fiddly stickers. Less is more sometime!Update: the finished models are very delicate. The drop apart too easily when played with. Maybe best as display pieces at first.

Hours of construction fun
I am a big fan of the Panlos STEM range and this one has been just as great. My 8 year old son loves these toys and I love how much he can do with them while learning. This one is a 979 piece dinosaur set so perfect for any construction and dinosaur lovers. The parts are very small and I would only recommend this for children from 6 years plus. This set is very well made sturdy and colourful. My son loved building this 12 in 1 set and had fun making the 4 robots, 4 carrier trucks and 4 dinosaurs. He is also a Dino fan and enjoyed looking up interesting facts about the dinosaurs after he had finished creating them. These STEM sets help creative play, logical thinking, hand eye coordination and help your child's motor skills all while having fun. They are great value for money and make a great gift for any fans of construction kits, vehicles and dinosaurs. Brilliant ... Great fun and a lot of blocks etc. for your money.
This amazing "transformer style" robot and dinosaur building set is fantastic product from Panlos ... perfect for ages six and over. It is a really good sized set containing an advertised 979 pieces (I refuse to count them lol) and an instruction leaflet showing some of the things that can be built with this set. Included in this STEM building set are wheels, blocks, bricks and much more. The pieces resemble LEGO and are quite small ... I insist my granddaughter uses a large tray for this sort of activity otherwise I would be forever jamming up our vacuum with stray bricks that I'd be coming across weeks later. This being a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) set really helps your child get to grips with improving their skills in this area of learning as well as increasing their imagination. The booklet shows how to build different robots which turn into dinosaurs step by step ... though of course there is nothing better than letting your child's imagination run riot. Also with the pieces being so small and some are really quite fiddly this would be a great set to help improve a child's or adult's fine motor skills. My six year old granddaughter has been having loads of fun with this set and to be honest so have I ... we've been taking it in turns to build many weird and wonderful robots. This set is really great fun as well as being educational. The pieces are robust and well made and price wise I think at £30 this set is well worth the money.Highly recommended.I hope you have found my review helpful
