Clean pure alcohol with no additives.
Great for making eye glasses cleaner. The lower percentage alchahol sold by the large box stores and pharmacies often contain oils and softeners to the alcohol is less 'drying.' I use this as ingredients for eye glass cleaner and added oil and softeners are counter productive. This product worked will and the glass doesn't get streaked.

The best alcohol on the market.
I love this alcohol. I use it for so many things (cleaning the ears, nose, electronic items). It is 99% strength, so that means there is no water in it (or very little water). The pure alcohol evaporates immediately. It does it's job & cleans well because there is no water in it.The 70% solution is 30% water- so it is ineffective.I pour this into a spray bottle, and take it to the gym with me. Works great to clean the equipment quickly, and dries immediately.

Great for alcohol ink paintings / art
This is just your basic rubbing alcohol. I bought this not for wounds or antiseptic but for art and alcohol inks / pours / fluid / acrylic paintings. The bottles are a good size amount and this came with two bottles. It should last me a while. I don't know how much rubbing alcohol usually costs but I thought 2 larger bottles for $10 was fair. Overall I am very happy, and we also have rubbing alcohol antiseptic in case we need it. I'll just have to open the bottle that has not yet been contaminated by paint and pigmented alcohols.

A must have!
Great stuff! I can't find this strength anywhere but Amazon! Works great for cleaning screens and glass gunk. If you use medical cannabis you need to buy this 99% Isopropyl alcohol . It's a must have.

Flux-be-gone
Perfect for cleaning solder flux off of circuit boards. It’s way less toxic than the standard flux removes and does just as good of a job.Higher purity is better and I have difficulty sourcing 99% isopropyl locally. Here’s what I do:Get a spray bottle and fill it with this Isopropyl.Get some lint free wipes, a large pack of standard toothbrushes (harder toothbrush bristles are better and won’t scuff boards like wire brushes) and toothpicks.Spray the underside of the board and wipe as much flux off as possible, holding the board over the sink vertically so that the flux has somewhere to run off. Then do a second spray and try to get as much of the gunk around the joints off as you can with the toothbrush. Then use the toothpick to dislodge the stubborn globs that won’t come loose.Repeat this process a few times and then do one more pass with another cloth (not the first one that has residue all over it!) to get the last remaining pieces. If it is still gummy / sticky on the surface you aren’t done. A couple passes are required to really clean it up. The first time it may take longer. The most frequent beginners mistake is to not get all the flux off and then the board becomes a gummy mess and a dust magnet. Also sure you clean the cloths and toothbrush thoroughly before using again.

Do not use on skin!
The product description is misleading. You can NOT use 99% alcohol as a first aid antiseptic. It clearly says on the bottle not to allow contact with skin. 99% is far too strong for skin.

Now this is some good alcohol!
99% alcohol has many uses (where the 70% and 91% just won't work), but it can be very difficult to find in normal stores.. shipping can usually be a deal-breaker due to it needing to be shipped using special restrictions (and the weight)Fortunately, this option was perfect due to the free shipping on Amazon. The package contained 2 bottles of 99% alcohol. I actually prefer the smaller bottles since they're easier to work with than the extra-large bottles you normally find. When used with alcohol-activated paints, for cleaning and for working with electronics, this stuff is perfect. There isn't much to say other than if you need 99%, you need it. And in this case, this is the best value/option I've found.
