They really work!
These pads stay put and make my shoes more comfortable. With open toe shoes, my foot no longer slides too far forward. I must admit, I'm surprised they work so well. Great purchase for me!

Problem feet - tried many different inserts, these win!
After a nightmarish evening in 3" Cole Haan stilettos - renowned for their comfort - I thought I would have to give up on wearing heels. I ordered about 5 different types of heel inserts in one last-ditch effort. These were the winner by far. My main issue isn't so much cushioning, but my feet slipping forward in pointed-toe shoes - my toes get pinched and my heel slips out the back. These are the ONLY insert I tried that effectively addressed that issue, even better than another pair of inserts with a shallow molded ridge specifically designed for that purpose (Acebone). The molding at the front edge of these is quite thick, so the ball of my foot sinks into the hollow area and is then held from moving by the front ridge. I also love the cushioning - I was surprised the first time I stood up to feel them squish! To test, I actually walked on the treadmill in my stilettos for about 5 minutes. Yes, the pointed toe still hurt, but I actually managed to walk properly in them - even power-walk at 3mph - instead of the unstable, slipping hobble-walk of before. BIG WIN. EDIT 5/1: Precise placement is paramount. Here are some tips after fiddling around with them (I now have them in 4 pairs of heels). They go further back than you might think. Never fully on the flat ball. The higher the heel, the further back they go. This helps prevent the toe becoming too tight, as well as also helping prevent slip-forward. I've found usually the back half of the insert will be up on the slope, and the front ridge will hit just in front of your ball joint, beneath the pad. This looks weird in the shoe - some overlap beyond the sole on the inside arch - but it feels much better! Sometimes it helps to tilt the insert outwards if your outer toes are further back than your big toe. This helps prevent squishing the outer toes, but it will look weird in your shoe.

Strut around...
I've used these for over a month now on different heels and they actually do help with the longevity of being in comfort verses "these need to come off ASAP" and you know what I'm talking about! I usually wear 4-5 inch heels to work and they do make a difference. Keep in mind I do sit at work, however I am able to go the entire day of strutting around. The ultimate test was a pair of Valentino heels that I would have slipped off while sitting at my desk and using these, I lasted all day. What I don't like is they are not reusable, hence the taking off one star. I wear heels all the time so I just didn't remove the sticker backing so I could transfer to other heels. Do they make you feel like you're walking on a cloud, of course not, they're heels and fashion is pain. However, do they give you a few extra hours of comfort, absolutely!!

Great idea and concept
Great idea and concept. Not sure if it's worth your money? I wanted to look for something I can insert into my heels for comfort... This is not really sturdy for me. Looks like I will have to keep looking.

It's a miracle!
I was very skeptical when I saw these but thought I would give them a try. A little background....I am 53 with bunions. I haven't been able to wear heels for over 10 years. The pain it causes when I step down while wearing heels is beyond excruciating! It would feel like a hot poker on the balls of my feet and make my toes go numb. I have a pair of boots with heels I have never been able to wear. So I followed the directions (which from what I read in reviews, is very important) put them in my boots and hesitantly took a few steps. Absolutely no pain! I actually was able to go out for the night and wear them without a bit of pain. Amazing! I will say, that pair of boots do not have a zipper on the side so getting them in place was quite difficult. I can now shop for some heels!! No more flats.

I can wear heels again!
I’ve seen these insoles online and it seemed like an interesting concept - adjusting the weight on the foot. Well i haven’t worn heels in yrs, from the pain on the ball of my feet, to knee surgery - it just felt like it was impossible. Fast fwd - going on vacation to Vegas with a dress up night of course i picked heels and at the last minute remember “uh your feet are going to hurt” the other ones i’ve seen are kind of expensive and takes too long - i was able to order these get them the day before i left - fingers crossed they’d work the only reason i had to take my shoes off at the end of the night was because my feet were swollen from the plane ride - no ball of the foot pain, no wobbly knees i’ll definitely purchase again and have them in all my heels i have a collection of at least 30 shoes and now i can wear them! no longer for display only!!!

They work! Follow the directions!
I got these to put in a pair of Badgley heels that I'm wearing to a fancy event. The heels themselves are intolerable on their own. So much that my toes go numb after just standing in them for 5 minutes. After carefully following the directions on the package of the heel-ho's and measuring my foot several times I finally had the courage to put them over the shiny copper lining of my shoe. This insert covers the brand and lining of the shoe... and it doesn't look glamorous anymore BUT I can walk in these shoes and not feel like I lost my toes after 5 minutes. I don't think I would be able to walk in these for an entire evening, but I blame that on lack of practice walking on heels and not because the heel-ho isn't doing it's job. Overall, it's an excellent investment on any heels- I just wish they were not so expensive. Oh well, if you don't like the pain associated with beauty, you've gotta pay a price.

You have to buy half size bigger to use this otherwise the foot is so tight .

Giving only little support to a ball of the foot and not sticking well on the edges so sometimes uncomfortable under the toes. However, the glue is good and holding the pad well in place despite multiple uses.
