Stereo Headset Headband SA-708 Game Earphone Bass Headphones with Microphone (Green)

I've had these headphones for months... maybe even a year now. I had to replace the last set of SB49 because the rubber started flaking off leaving black dandruff on my hair and ears. I really like the microphone on this how it folds up and out of the way. I rarely use the mic, and I have found that the quality isn't as good as the quality of the Mic on my Logitech 9000 webcam. There is buzzing in this that isn't present with that device. What do you expect though, one device cost $100 the other, $15. Sound is great. There is a volume adjust on the line that also has a switch, which does nothing. kinda makes me wonder why they made that adjuster so large then. still, it is fun to flip the switch back and forth while watching movies as it gives me something to do with my hands. These are very comfortable and do a good job of muting ambient sound. I sometimes wear them when my kids start running around the house screaming. I don't know if my wife knows I'm not actually watching movies or anything when I do this, but at least I can ignore the kids for a while and let them play while it doesn't bother me as much.These actually come in multiple colors. I got black with the green trim because I thought it looked the best. But for those with custom lighting on their PC's you might be able to get something to match.

I have a tendency to obliterate all electronics I own due to clumsiness, so I decided to just buy an ultra cheap headset this time with the assumption that I will break it in 6-9 months time and won't cry from the $80 loss. So far I have dropped and thrown these into my hardwood floor at least 30 times, gotten the cord snagged in my chair's wheels at least 15 times, and almost ripped the USB out on several occasions, and they still work perfectly. No visible wear or tear on the cord or USB. After reading some of the other reviews, I assumed they wouldn't be able to withstand the damage, but they have. You might get a crappy pair from the start, but they are so cheap the risk is worth it. My husband also got a pair (in the awesome blue color) and his are equally durable and of the same quality.Sound and mic quality are just all right. If sound quality matters a great deal to you, don't buy these, but for the layperson they will work. The ear phones are relatively comfortable but can start to hurt after several hours of wear.If you're looking for a cheap pair for your kid or you're a failure of an adult like myself, definitely purchase these.

For the price you're paying, this headset is really good. The sound quality is decent and I've yet to have a problem with how it feels on my head. The only real con, as I've discovered today, is that the mic is lacking. It has a really hard time picking up sound unless you boost it to 10db +. This causes static and even with noise cancellation, it's still pretty audible.

These headphones were not only terrible uncomfortable but also broke only a few days of well treated use. The poor cushioning on the ear pieces are not nearly thick enough to protect against the terrible woven mesh covering the plastic structure. This woven mesh would grind across my ears during use and would result in me ripping off the headphones for relief of the stinging pain caused from it. as well as this a week after use the wire popped out of the volume controller completely disconnecting the the wire completely and rendering the headphones completely useless, but I suppose this was a blessing in disguise as switching to my old pair relieve me of the ear pains and poor quality of these terrible headphones.

For the price, this is an good headset. Sound is good. The mic works good. Obviously someone would buy this because of the low cost. I think it does well. My ears are kinda big, the cups could be a bit larger, in my opinion.There is a volume control inline also a mic on/off switch.This is not USB. It has 3.5mm plugs for mic and headset.I tested the mic on voice recorder (windows) with just my voice and it was very clear. I also recorded with music playing on the headset, I could hear the music quietly, but my voice was still clear. I have an MSI Gaming 5 motherboard and I have options for noise cancelling. With this headset, noise cancelling made the sound worse so I turned it off. (hope that helps)I basically got this headset until I get a HyperX Cloud. Just needed something for the meantime and I'm happy I chose this one.
