Very high quality product, easy application and clean up. Super user friendly!
Awesome product! Goes on like a really thick latex paint. No need to stir it up first or anything. All you need is a paint roller with a 3/4 inch nap and a long screw on handle. I recommend pouring a gallon or two into a clean five gallon bucket and using a drop-in five gallon bucket grid. When applying, leave plenty on the roller, roll it on using only the weight of the roller. This allows it to lay it on thick! Clean up is easily while it is still wet, only water and mild soap is needed. Sprays off with a water hose when fresh. Dry to the touch in around 5 or 6 hours, full cure in 24 hours in warmer climates, with around 50% humidity.

Good body to it, goes on smoothly, takes a little while to dry
This product was the most affordable of the roof coatings that I shopped. I therefore started by ordering just 5 gallons in order to give it a try before spending anymore time or money on it. I needed a rubberized product that I could paint over asphalt architectural shingles, in order to reduce the heat absorption of my Florida roof and at the same time increase the life expectancy of my shingles. I am happy to report that this product goes on smoothly with good body and coverage. It has the affect of reflecting most of the sun's energy right back where it came from while sealing all nokes and crannies in and around the shingles. It will also stop the continued erosion of the shingle coating. Before applying the white coating I would burn my hand when touching the shingles on a sunny day. After applying it, I can rest my hand on my roof on the sunniest day and it actually feels cool. This is after just one coat. I do think for appearance sake my roof would look more even and finished with a second thin coat. And I do like the bright white finish. I have been wanting to do this project for a long time but had been dreading it. I thought it would be much more difficult. What a relief to go into the stormy season with this upgrade. I couldn't give the product a 5 star rating for longevity or endurance because it was applied only a few months ago. I will update my review after some time and some storms have passed.... Additional information, now that some time has passed I can report that this product works wonderfully on the architectural shingles and on my metal roofs. It grabs the roof and becomes a part of it. I was right about needing a thin second coat. It makes a big difference in appearance and in weather proofing. But the second coat spreads so far that it goes on very quickly and easily and, thankfully affordably. A note of caution; don't make the first coat too thick or it takes a couple of days to completely dry and be rain safe. I tried putting a thick first coat on my metal roof to save time and it didn't completely dry a day later when we got a rain shower. Most of it did wash off. Remember, it is water based. However, having learned that lesson and applying thin coats and not leaving thick spots, this stuff is amazing once it is dry. It is as sturdy and rubbery as the sole of your tennis shoe. It says 6 hours to be rain proof but it is really more like 18 hours so check your weather forecast carefully before you start to apply it.

One month in, great so far!
SUMMARY: Applied this to an EPDM rubber membrane roof on a Washington, DC rowhouse. The black rubber membrane used to be burning hot in the sun. Now it's cool to the touch. Easy to apply, and working great for the first month. Definitely requires two or more coats. 5 gallons covered about 960 square feet (2 coats X 480 sq. ft. roof). LONG VERSION In total this took one person about 10 hours over three days to put two coats on a 480 square foot roof. Goes on easy, cleans up with water just like any exterior-grade latex paint. Day 1 was cleaning and repairing. I used a hose rather than a pressure washer to avoid damaging the rubber membrane, and an old broom to gently scrub the surface. Washed every nook and cranny twice. After drying, I applied roofing caulk to every loose bit of membrane. Time = 3 hours. Day 2 was the first coat. I spent more to buy single gallons so that my DIY self wouldn't have to haul one giant 5-gallon bucket up a ladder. Brush-painted all the edges and around the HVAC unit on the roof. Used a 3/8" utility grade roller with 5-foot extension handle. Rolled on just like any moderately-thick paint would. It dried FAST (humidity was low) and was dry to the touch in 30 minutes, so I had to be careful and not pour too much into the roller pan at once or else it would skin over before I was done. Time = 4 hours including set-up and clean up. Day 3 was the second coat, same as the first but a little easier because I had all the equipment in place and the experience from Day 1. A small amount of black still showed through. I decided to skip the third coat because I was out of paint and the roof was cool to the touch already. Tip: Wear sunglasses! It was crazy bright up there with one coat already on. Time = 3 hours including clean up. One month later: No run-off, drips, or other visible damage after multiple rainy days. The top floor of the house is staying nice and cool, although the weather hasn't gotten very hot here yet. The real test will be the 98 degree and sunny days in July. The roof is at least 50 degrees cooler than before but it's hard to say exactly how that's impacting the interior temperature. See picture for how well the FIRST coat covers the black membrane. This was after I used one gallon on an area about 12 x 18 feet. If I remember, I will try to update this post in 6 months once we've made it through summer.

Looks impressive for the price! Time will tell.
Used on our 2015 40’ destination trailer roof- Roof was very worn but had no leaks - did all the proper prep before application. Retired painter - so I know prep work is key to lasting results. Very easy to use - goes on like paint / great coverage / levels nicely. (Used brush and roller to apply) Applied two thin coats and still had enough left for another coat. Will see how it holds up over the winter / if it fails / I will be back to let you all know. (Applied sept 6 & 7th 2025) (waited a day between coats) if it still looks great in the spring I will upgrade this review to a 5. Pic (1) shows cleaned and prepped Pic (2) shows first (thin) coat (sorry didn’t get a final pic - but she looks new again - totally white! Very happy with the look - plan to recoat next summer / then every other year.

Great RV/ trailer roof waterproof sealer.
I haven't put it on yet. It's for my 5th wheel camper. But I've used before and it works great. Always be prepared to apply at least 2 coats for the best seal. Also clean good first.

Great product for the price would recommend it to anybody don’t change the technology
Love this product and it works great and takes several coats but I am very pleased with the application for ease of application my age even though I’ve done this all my life it was super easy to do and I believe I’m already seeing some results recommend this product to anybody who is looking for energy savings and Ease of application. Also had to use a little bit more than I anticipated but that’s OK. Should’ve taken this up there and taking a photo didn’t have time.

roof paint
Worked really well on camper roof. Note that once opened, this paint will not store well. It congeals to a large bucket of soft rubber. Probably why it works well on roof.
