Comfortable, casual, and seem to be very well built.
Doesn't matter if a shoe lasts forever if it's not comfortable. Luckily, these are very comfortable, making it easy to do a lot of walking, or standing for extended periods of time. It's too early to tell if they'll be durable, but they seem to be extremely well constructed. My last pair of Florsheims lasted until the soles literally wore down to having holes, quit a few years of use. I hope these last just as long. If I could give half stars, I'd knock these down to 4.5 stars for one reason, though. They're a bit on the heavy side. Expected with a steel-toe shoe, so it's not worth knocking a full star, but I do wish they were a bit lighter. But all in all, these seem to be fantastic shoes. Very pleased with my purchase.

Work shoes
I really like these shoes. They last more than a year. The thing that wears out is the sole, but that is as expected. They are very comfortable from top to bottom. My feet usually hurt after a day on them, but these shoes give my feet comfort better than other shoes I wear. They are good quality leather. The safety toe does not bother me at all and the total weight is not cumbersome.

Better shoe strings and they would be perfect.
Good work shoe where comfort and steel toe is needed. Good for doing a lot of walking. Knocked one star aff because shoe strings will wear out in about 7 months of daily use and there are no OE replacements.

Great work shoes!
My job requires everyone to wear steel-toed shoes. I had previously worn normal work boots, bought from a retail store, that only carried regular width shoes(Sears). Because I have wide feet, I've been buying shoes at least a size bigger, to fit my wide feet. The salesman at Sears(thanks!)told me to check Sears.com. Well, I buy a lot of my favorite classical music from...Amazon. I had no idea Amazon sold shoes, and I had no idea you can buy wide shoes online. Anyway, I'm buying all my shoes from Amazon from now on. I bought a pair of shoes in the wrong size, sent them back, return postage pre-paid, to Amazon. Totally stress-free. Wonderful! I'm on my feet, on concrete, in a warehouse, 11 hours a day. Regular steel-toe work boots are okay, even if they fit good. These Florsheim shoes are far superior to any boots(I've gone through quite a few)because they are so comfortable to walk around in, and they feel softer around the feet, like regular walking shoes. After 11 hours on my feet, I'm ready to go walking for exercise with my wife in these shoes. After these wear out, I'm buying another pair. I just love them.

Best Shoes I've Ever Spent Money On (Including Sandals)
I bought these shoes for a job that became available unexpectedly. It was a rush purchase and I'd only owned one pair of Florsheim dress shoes prior to this purchase. I have what my Uncle refers to as "Fred Flintstone feet", meaning that I have no arch and they spread out like a fat ducks feet with every step and look like stubby golf clubs on the ends of my legs. It is VERY hard for me to buy shoes that I can even tolerate, much less enjoy wearing, especially safety shoes. These however, are as close to perfect as I've ever owned. I pound across concrete all night long, putting on miles and though I can't say my feet don't hurt at the end of the night, it's not because of the shoes. They are well made and still look good after several months of wear in an aluminum foundry, with no more care than a moist cloth wipedown on Mondays before the week starts.

Shoes don't stand up to even light wear! DO NOT BUY!
I have worn these exact same shoes for over ten years. The first ones fit will when I put them on and required no break in. I eventually wore through the soles and then the soles started coming off after about five or so years of daily work wear. Same for the second pair fit pretty well but did not hold up near as well and came apart (not worn out) after about twp years. Mainly the soles came unglued. This pair is the right size but hurt my toes (protective toe shield is too small or at wrong angle) and now after only 4 months of occasional wear the soles are coming off. Totally unacceptable!Sent shoes back to vendor per their instrucitons and never heard a word from them

Fantastic quality & fit, but heavy
Excellent fit! The shoes itself is quite rugged & solid in construction, but the leather is soft and of premium quality. Got these to replace a pair of boots. I used to find my feet sweated too much in boots, so I was happy to find a great shoe option like this. The only issue some may dislike is the weight. They are quite heavy; even more so than my boots were. So if you are looking for a light steel-toed shoe keep looking. I advise going for something possibly in Rockport. For me the weight of the shoe isn't an issue. I hope these will last several years, and if they do I would definitely buy another pair

Like a boat shoe, sorta
Sole is non marking On the heavy side for a safety shoe. Comft is okay. Not bad, but not great. I own six safety shoes.Laces are not good wiay, as many have noted, and don't match. I plan to replace the laces
