just okay
I ordered this from Amazon's Warehouse for much, muchless than what it retails for here. Had I paid fullprice, it would have gone back, but for the money Ispent, we decided to keep it. There is no base whichmakes it very difficult to thread the first ring on,it won't be possible for our son for some time. Eachring has one section you can press and it makes noise. The head is supposed to giggle when you put it on thetop of the rod, but you have to press down so hard forit to work that it's kinda pointless. It is cute andsoft and as individual rings it works okay for us for now.

Baby Proof
The zany design of this product sucked me in, but I almost immediately regretted paying so much for this ring stacker. Why? Well, it's pretty much baby proof. In addition to the rings being cloth, the pole the rings are stacked on is cloth, as well. This causes too much friction for a baby to slide the rings onto the pole - believe me, it takes a little force! In addition, the pole is not attached to a base - it is a separate piece in itself - meaning Baby has to assemble the pole and the bottom ring first before it can stand freely for more rings to be stacked on top! (Yeah, like that's going to happen!) In order for this to be a feasible plaything for a little one, the pole should be attached to a solid base and be made of wood, or at least a durable plastic. All my daughter was ever able to do with it was pull it apart and squeeze the rings to make animal noises and then scatter it to the four corners of the room. I have since gotten my daughter a Melissa and Doug wooden stacker which she loves to take apart and re-stack and can play with it with ease, with or without adult assistance.

Super cute, wish the pieces fit better
I've bought many Kushies products and have always been pleased with the quality and overall function of these toys. This stacker was reasonably priced for this brand however I was disappointed the rings fit so tight. This toy is made for infants and as an adult I have difficulties pulling the rings off and on...especially the top one ring. The only way it would even fit was upside down. All in all my 9 month old daughter likes to play with the rings and they still provide entertainment.

Super Entertaining!
My daughter LOVES this toy... it was great when she was first learning to sit. I would sit her down and put the toy right between her legs, she would grab onto it and it gave her something to focus on and keep her balance. It has all kinds of different textures, colors and sounds. If you press down on the whole thing, it sounds like you are in a barnyard! Now that she can sit on her own, she knocks over the whole thing and will swing around the center pole like a hammer, she chews on the rings and the nose of the face on top... she doesn't put it back together yet, but she's only 7 months old... we'll get there!

Gave it away
I got this shortly after my daughter was born but when she was old enough to actually use it she hardly played with it. the colours and textures are lovely, some of them are even related to the sound the piece makes but in general this toy was quite pointless. the rod is too soft and the rings do not fit easily on it (it took effort for me to do that), the sounds are hard to activate. my husband found it ugly so we gave it away. money wasted, IMO.

No sound
Purchased this as a Xmas gift. One on the ring sounds does not work. To much money for this item to be received not in working order. Where is the in house inspection?? Of course the return date is past because I bought it in November. I have learned my lesson. I spent a lot of money with amazon this year so I might think twice about on line purchases and returns with them.

but the bill paying grandmother is NOT happy. Would not recommend if sound is important or ...
I was excited when I ordered the product, color, sound and texture all in one! I should have tested it, but thought to leave it as shipped, so the batteries would last longer - big mistake! Only two stack rings made any noise and they stopped by midday on Christmas. My 6 month old granddaughter probably could care less, but the bill paying grandmother is NOT happy. Would not recommend if sound is important or if you expect to get what you paid for!

This is incredibly cute but the sounds from each ring ...
This is incredibly cute but the sounds from each ring are not the same decibel. In fact, the pig squeals and the frog ribbits are very, very faint, to the point that they are non-existent to an 8-month old. She adores the giggle from the top, though, and the cow's moos greatly interest her. Somewhat overpriced.
