I lost half my hearing in right ear and knew it was from years of using cotton buds. I used these ear candles and cleared out a lot of honey looking wax. I used all 12 candles and ordered more. Works really well and is so easy to use without assistance. I stood in front of a big mirror with my head sideways and just held candle in my ear. I still can't hear 100 percent though..... need to do a few more candles. It feels like a little crackling sound in your ear when you do it and you feel a little sucktion but very gentle almost as if nothing is happening and then you peel open the candle at the end and see what's inside and its amazing ! Really satisfied with how this product works.

Very good work well at least used once a month

I’ve used ear candles before without problem. These looked the same with 12 candles and 5 silver trays designed to catch falling debris, meaning you need to reuse them twice, and reuse one of them 3 times.This seems to be a design flaw.Whilst doing my second ear, my partner held the candle in my ear whilst I lay with my head level. Suddenly, the foil tray failed, caught fire and then set my hair on fire.As the fire got quite big, the foil ring around the candle that’s designed to extinguish the flame fell off, and in the panic of trying to put the fire out, the foil loop landed on my arm, causing the burns in the picture attached. Over the last month it has healed after having a slight infection in the wounds, but it has left a scar. For £6 I thought they were a bargain, but you get what you pay for, and I actually think these are too cheap, and in the future I would go to somewhere like Holland & Barrett.Do not buy them; they’re dangerous

I was sceptical about these since the reviews were so varied. I used it in my ear first and lots of wax was in the tube, I then burnt one without putting it in my ear and the tube was empty (except for some white residue). After researching online I took the plastic out of the bottom of the candle before putting it in my ear. Would defo use these again!

I had a scratching noise in my left ear and had tried ear drops but they didn’t help. Then I tried these. They do work very well and pull a lot of wax out of your ear, however, I think I went a bit over the top with them. I used one, then could still feel wax so used another. Then did another which was the mistake as I ended up with a blocked ear which left me deaf for a week! It was also quite painful! Not sure if I had damaged my inner ear or maybe moved a bit lump of wax which then blocked the ear canal? No idea what happened but it did put me off using them again. So just be careful with them.

Hubby always complaining of not hearing well. Used to go for surgery cleaning. Putting drops of olive oil in night before helps. Easy to use, but please be careful if children or pets are nearby. Insert the candle in ear as far as comfortable. Lying down is preferable. Burning of wax candle takes appx 6 mins. Flame burns itself out. Use a foil or tin receiver when ash drops. To see wax collected, remove from ear and cut open lengthways. We were truly amazed at the amount of cerumen (wax) collected. Repeat procedure again if wax is still a problem. Use drops overnight to loosen wax.

The candles weren’t expensive so sceptical. They are as good as any used in a salon, they do the job will be re-ordering when used up. Great delivery too.
