Dash approach is nice some cursive too.
Love the dyslexic font. I like the dash approach instead of traditional line approach that other handwriting books have. My son has a problem with width of letters and spacing more than height, so this has helped him space his letters better. But it goes back and forth between dashes and lines giving him the best of both I think. It’s a pretty book too. I’ll probably have him pull some pages out and color for relatives at Christmas. It introduces cursive at the end. I’d say about 12% of the book is cursive though, so if you’re looking specifically for cursive this isn’t it.

She loved being able to color and doodle
I purchased this book in November of 2015. We had just moved from NC to FL. I was overwhelmed, and my dyslexic daughter, who struggled with school anyway, was having a hard time getting back into school after the move. She started working on this book after Christmas and continued through May. We picked it back up this past fall and she kept working at it. She loved being able to color and doodle. Her handwriting improved and she learned the correct spelling of many words. Furthermore, her ears perked up and her eyes lit up when she heard many of the verses in church services. Sarah Janisse Brown understands dyslexic children. She has put many amazing books out there that are so helpful. We also highly recommend the Dyslexia Games -- Series A, B, and C. They are the best for dyslexic children. My daughter improved greatly from the B Series and is now about to being the C Series.

They won't even realize they are learning, it's that fun!
This is great book for a wide range of ages. I am currently using it for my 7, 9, & 12 year old each day. My 9 year old shows signs of dyslexia and her copywork is AMAZING using this book! Most of the time she writes certain letters backwards or capitals in place of lower case and since we started using this book, she's writing just like the font! I also want to give a huge word of thanks to Sarah Janisse Brown for allowing parents to make copies for our own kids. I have 4 children and we have a very tight budget. This enables me to be able to make a copy for each of my kids. Make sure though to check out her PDF files which make it easy to print for multiple children. Also many of her products are priced at such an affordable rate that we can purchase a book for each child, which trust me is a huge deal in our home that they each have their own! You will not be disappointed with this purchase!

Absolute must have for all homeschoolers!
This beautifully constructed book with scripture verses has helped our son tremendously. He copies his scripture, illustrates, and pulls out his favorite words. It’s short enough to hold his attention and long enough to add value. A tip for dyslexic children who struggle with reversals is to alternate colors when copying the verse. I can always tell a difference when my son uses colors.

Clever design, great for copywork.
I use this notebook for my kids' daily copy work. Such a clever design and I love that it has the dyslexie font. I was able to get it on a sale but is well worth the cost even at full price. Great verses, I will say this one doesn't have all the dyslexia puzzles in it as some others do. I didn't realize that before purchasing but it doesnt take away from the value of the journal. I will be looking for the puzzles in the next one to see if they are helpful to my daughter who has dyslexia. So if that is important to you, make sure to check which books have them and which do not.

My favorite book in this series
This is my favorite of these beautiful books. We are using it along with our homeschooling this year as Bible and handwriting practice. I really like how it switches from print to cursive a little past the halfway point.

Good purchase
Good addition to my take along homeschool bag. We do something different for copy work at home. But this is great to leave in a bag when we have to do school on the run. Kids enjoy it.

Very nice!
I have been using this book with my 9 and 7 year of girls. Neither girls like to write but this is helping them practice in a fun way! There is a little variety to the pages and a spelling list here and there throughout. The Bible verses are in NKJV from what I can tell except occasionally a word is changed slightly to make it more understandable for kids. So, it might be partly another translation as well. I especially like how they get to circle their three favorite words and copy them. It is also nice to talk about what the verses mean as they color.
