Walimex Pro Medium Size Studio Trolley Bag for Light Stand and Studio Light

On first impressions this is a good bag which was bought at a good price compared with equivelants on eB@@, etc. The internal dimensions on the web are about right but anyone buying it needs to add about 10cm to the length and a couple of cm to width and depth to cater for the outer dimensions. The out surface should wipe clean and should be ok in short/light showers - keep the bag it is packed in if you want a quick waterproof solution.I've loaded it for my next shoot with two lighting stands, a tripod, four led light panels (ipad size) in their carrybags, a medium size should camera bag (containing bits and pieces) to carry camera when on location instead of my main bag. There is still room to store bits and pieces. Easy to wheel when packed but can be a challenge to move by the straps into cars, etc, - could possibly do with a grab handle on the side? The supplied inserts are a single full length partition and two shorter ones so may be lacking, depending upon what you want to carry. A near full length full width padded "sheet" can be placed over the contents to allow extra storage between the main compartment and the lid but the straps that hold it in place don't fasten sufficiently for me - might need to have a look.Inside the lid are two mesh pockets for bits and pieces but a single zip is used so each section can't be opened seperately.Overall a good bag and time will tell how robust it is.

This is a strong bag, with plenty of space, well padded but unfortunately the is no pull handle and the attached handle won't last, it needs to be reinforced. Such a shame, I don't really understand why they didn't attached a pull handle. So unless you want to carry this as a normal bag, the wheels are useless without a pull handle. I bought one and after few days the handle feel apart as it takes too much pressure. NOT recommended unless you want to hold the bag. The only way I see here is to modify the bag and reinforce the handle with some strong metal plates.

Great and sturdy trolley case for storing light stands and bits and bobs. I took it on location for the first time the other day for outdoor fashion photoshoot. I didn't bring much lighting equipment, just the heavy duty boom light stand, octagon softbox umbrella, reflector stand and other small bits and bobs. Although it's a heavy trolley, the interior were great but the straps were unreliable, great padding to protect the gear, the stitching in the base of the case (exterior) was loose and some sign of fraying, wish it had an extending handle for easy carry, my arm. After half of day use, it was an okay item but not happy with the issues as mentioned above, I don't think I can justify paying £125 for a large case for the overall issues. I don't want to carry the case to shoots anymore. Can I have my money back please?

I bought this item awhile back for my lighting equipment, I wanted a bag where I could fit all the equipment so it wouldn't be scattered all over the place.8 weeks after I got it, the zip went leaving me unable to close the bag (see pictures), the sewing was of poor quality and didn't hold, when trying to slide it along before I noticed the stitching had gone, the whole thing turned into mush.Stupidly I was going through a busy period at work and didn't complain or returned it when this happened.One other thing that is pretty annoying is the handle, I find it too short allowing for the bag to constantly hit the back of your thighs, obstructing your walking when carrying a very heavy bag is not ideal.I appreciate the bag it's pretty large and when loaded heavy, therefore a shorter handle makes sense from a sturdiness point of view but in reality a longer one would have been more appropriate, specially when considering the price you would expect they could make a sturdy longer one avoiding the uncomfortable pulling of the bag.Finally although this is more a thought than a criticism of the quality, the bag is far too heavy when fully loaded, once you get to a place with steps you are in trouble.Apart form the zip and the handle the rest of the bag is very sturdy.

I bought this to hold my extra lighting gear; stands, softboxes and accessories. The case comes with one full-length and two short half-width dividers, so stands go in the long side and I've had to fit the short dividers diagonally to make three smaller sections for other kit. There is a zip pocket in the lid, although the lid also has a full-length padded insert and there are two securing straps in the body of the case.The corners and base are all well clad with plastic armor panels and the zips and straps are of decent quality.Would give it five stars but for the lack of divider options.I'm thinking of getting the bigger version for my 8" reflector OTA.

The build is very good, it is more like a toughened travel bag with inside padding & Flexi-plastic wall under the skin. Still for the paid price tag of above £125 I wish there was a fold-in extendable handle like strolley rather than just a single one fixed to the body (which looks like may rip out with repeated use) and the ZIPPER made of more secure & stronger quality . Fell apart a couple of months after buying it. Both Handles came off.

It's a great product, happy with it although the fact there is not an extendable handle is frustrating. It makes the product a little cumbersome. Delivered on time though.

excellent quality.. its perfect.. the only problem, its, you need to buy a foam for more protection. off course, depends of the use and for what do you buy!!!

Bought to transport new LED lights etc. Very good bag with good padding and compartments. Lots of room inside.Good quality.

Excellent Size and Padding ! Could do with perhaps 3 more small dividers. Wheels look strong but time will tell, I was so pleased with this Bag that I ordered a second one . Also a point to note is that the bag will stand upright when loaded! Would recommend to a friend,
