A way to poach eggs without introducing another pot into my crowded cabinet SIMPLE TO USE- what you have to do is put about an 1" of water into a pan, crack an egg into one of the poachers that has been either lightly sprayed with a butter or veg spray or greased with butter, add some seasoning if desired, put it into the pan, close the lid, turn on the heat to boil and voila, in about 5 min at boil, perfect poached eggs. Easy to Clean- To clean up this non-stick poacher cups, only need to simply flip it over and wash it or just toss it into the dishwasher. No need for scraping and scrubbing. The poachers are stackable and easy to store, saving space.

Makes a perfect poached egg!
I fill a small saucepan with about 1” of water, bring it to a boil. Spray the poacher lightly with oil and crack the egg in it. Then place the poacher in the boiling water and cover. Remove from the water carefully. I take the tip of a knife and run it around the edge of the egg to loosen and the egg pops right out. It takes about 5 minutes to poach an egg to my liking. The poacher is dishwasher safe.I’ve been very happy with its performance.

Don’t waste your money.
Even after spraying with cooking spray eggs stick. I also tried oil and butter with same results.

Just what I need.
These eggs poaching cups work really great. I wanted something that was deep enough so that the egg whites wouldn’t spill over into the water. They are great for large eggs; the entire egg remain in the cups. The result is a perfectly poached egg. I lift them out of the water with tongs or long wooden skewers through the holes.

Would be great if it didn't rip
Works well if you spray with nonstick spray before adding the egg. I love these but after my 2nd use 2 of the handles broke, the material split in half

Why bother?
These were a pain in the neck. Had to grease all 4 cups, the water took too long to start boiling, could not tell how done the eggs were, tested an egg for doneness and it spilled into the water, put the lid back on, then the eggs got over cooked, they plopped out of the cups awkwardly because the cups were hot and they left egg residue on the cups. Now I was left with 4 greasy egg covered cups that were dirty inside and outside do to the boiling water having egg in it and a pan to clean as if I had poached eggs without these cups. The egg was very hard to clean off the outside of the cups. I had to scratch it off with my fingernails. I used the cups one more time to give them a fair shot. Second time was a little better but not by much. I can cook eggs in one pan in a matter of minutes. The boiling water took 10 times longer. Waste of time. I gave them away.

Does not worth buying it
It is cute, but it takes long to cook the egg. Half of the egg is hard and the top is raw. Also it sticks to the pan making it had to clean.

Works pretty well
These silicone poachers work pretty well. The only complaint is the shape of the final poached egg. It ends up small and barely covers an english muffin. You definitely have to spray the silicone cup with cooking spray or it does get sticky.
