Maclaren 2-in-1 Baby Rocker and Chair, Black and Champagne (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

We bought this chair to replace a baby Papasan seat we used with our first child, which became damaged in a fire. My daughter (2 months) absolutely loves this seat! She had a fussy period every night, and this was the only thing we were able to use to calm her. I would just sit on the floor and rock her until she fell asleep - worked like a charm! I love that the seat has different recline positions, so you can find one that works well with your child, or change it as your child grows. The vibration is great, however I wish it had an automatic shut off after being on for awhile. The vibration is so quiet and subtle, it has been left on over night before while the chair is not in use. But I guess that means the battery life is good because it still hasn't died! It's a nice looking seat as well - none of those bright pastels that all the other baby stuff looks like, so it blends in with my decor better. The toy bar is kind of pointless, at least at the younger age, because she can't really reach it. Maybe when she gets a little older she'll be able to enjoy it. I definitely love this chair and glad we spent the extra money on it!

Amazing rocker/chair! My husband and I call this the "magic chair." Both my son and daughter absolutely loved this chair. As soon as I would put them in it, they would fall asleep. I used this everywhere-- inside, outside,for travel. My daughter is a restless sleeper, but as soon as I put her in it and gave it a few rocks with my foot she nods off to sleep. I cannot say enough. It's very durable so you'll be able to keep your child in it for a while. My daughter is 18 pounds and it still is very sturdy.

Unsafe and Defective! I contacted the seller to return this item because the locking feature does not work. When I put my baby in it in the upright position it unexpectedly unlocked and falls backwards. This startles my baby and jerks him back as you can imagine. My sister in law has this same chair and it does not do this... it seems as though the locking feature is not working as it should. I would like to return the chair so that the manufacturer can inspect it to ensure that it does not happen with other chairs. Please contact me so we can organize a return and refund. I have not heard back from you.

The harness on this rocker (the reason I bought it was for the shoulder straps) is awful. The straps are connected so high up that they are level with the baby's face and they are tightened all the way and still they are so loose they just hang there. I don't understand why the straps are like that - they should be at or below shoulder height. Don't waste your money on this product.

I love this seat! I am so happy I decided to buy the Maclaren rocker rather than a bouncer seat. It reclines so easily, vibrates for added sensation, and has a strap to transport it hand-free. There is plenty of room to grow into it, while one of my friends who has a bigger 3 month old says her bouncer is already getting too small. I love that it is also another safe place for my baby to sleep...he loves it.

My daughter loves the vibration and I love the fact that while she's sleeping, I can work on the computer and still rock her. It is also so easy to travel with and no heavier than my diaper bag. This is probably one of the best things that I purchased for her.

I've bought one from a garage sale and my daughter loves it. Hence, I bought this one for my twin son. This chair proivdes back support and with vairous incline levels, great design and very light, great for travel.Product came nicely wrapped and quickly.

Mamma bear bought this on brand name an looks rather than functionality.Horrible straps over the shoulder and waist. Inconvenient to put on, adjust, and remove.I do not recommend.
