This light is exactly what I needed! It puts off the perfect amount of light (and the colors look great) and I love the daytime/nighttime mode. The timer is relatively easy to set up if you follow the directions. The only con is if I lose power it resets to factory defaults, meaning the lights turn on in the middle of the night. Such a small problem though because at least it still comes on unlike other lights 🤷🏼‍♀️ I have two but plan on buying another for my third tank, and have already convinced my mom to get one too. 10/10 would recommend.

The Nicrew SkyLED Plus planted aquarium light showed up on time and undamaged. The light was packed well. I have the 12" model set up on my 12x12x18 Zoo Med Vivarium for Dart Frogs. I was easy to set up and program the light schedule controller. Provides plenty of light for my use.

I have 4 of these for my 125 gallon fish tank (they're placed sideways along the length of the tank). They fit great, and the light they provide is solid, however I can't get the blue light "moon" type setting to work on 2 of the 4. I know I'm doing the settings right because 2 of them work as expected.

Replaced mmy 2 Seaoura's (that I trashed due to complexity to reset up after power issues) with these Nicrews. 4? versions available. I went for 3rd level. 4th level has a remote, but using the 24/7 auto setting I didn't need a remote.Great simple fully visible digial displays. I can see my settings; no guessing. Just like setting up a digital clock. The instructions are in real English (for once!) and easy to understand. Bought 2 and just got a 3rd larger one for a new tank. Fully adjustable for time and lighting, but I frankly just set the current time and let the automatic program work its own magic to fade in, light to max then fade out at 8pm end of day. Simple.I like the tank slider arms versus the overhead Seaoura supports; easier to take them off to access full tank and sits over a full glass tank cover. I just ordered a Nicrew heater for my shrimp with overheat shut off. I have Nicrew on my favorites list now.

This is the best light I have ever purchased. I have a low tech planted nano tank. I was using the hood that came with the 5 gallon but the light is just a couple small led's. All the plants were turning brown. I got rid of the hood and purchased this light. I noticed a difference in one day. All new green growth happening. The different settings are an extreme bonus. I have now had it a week and the plants are looking amazing. Best purchase I have made in a while.

The media could not be loaded. First of all, the brightness is amazing. I mean, when I had first plugged it in and the light was facing me, it had actually blinded me. The buttons and the settings are easy to understand. After using it for maybe 7-8 hours, I put in the blue night mode. That’s when it started flickering. Not like buzz buzz flicker. Like ON and OFF flickering. I immediately started looking for another product of better quality. So I’m currently using it temporarily until my new one arrives. The next morning, I noticed that half of the white LEDs were broken. I am completely disappointed. All of this in less than a day.. don’t waste your precious money on this garbage!

Pros:Size is perfect for smaller aquariums. For reference, I have this on a five gallon tank.Highly configurable. Timer, lighting intensity, duration are all fully configurable.Cons:Blue LEDs are few and even at 100% intensity, don't expect to see them.The white LEDs are the primary ones and I have them at 7% intensity to compensate for the few blue LEDs.In general, while it's a good setup, it isn't as well balanced as I'd hoped.
