Duraflame is America's favorite fire starter brand. Duraflame Fire start Firelighters are the fast, sure way to light a wood fire. Each starter is individually wrapped for clean handling and quick one-match lighting. Using Fire starters results in faster and more complete ignition of the fire, reducing emissions of particulate matter and carbon monoxide so you're doing your part to protect air quality when you use a fire start. Duraflame Fire starts use only recycled wood and agricultural fibers, saving valuable natural resources. They are with a blend of wax and recycled biomass fibers. Stock up on Duraflame Fire start Firelighters for when the weather is right for cozy fires in the fireplace or chilly nights around the campfire.

THIS is the firestarter pack I was looking for! ...
THIS is the firestarter pack I was looking for! These are the individually wrapped, "light the wrapper" style firestarters. They light split firewood with no kindling ever time. I set the firestarter either on the bottom of the fireplace under the supporting andiron or on the andiron and stack the wood over it.The unwrapped firestarters which are just a hunk of wax and sawdust that you break off don't work worth a damn. I've tried wrapping them with paper, oiled paper, wax paper, and other things to get them to start burning properly. They just don't work for me. The pre-wrapped firestarters work each and every time simply by lighting the corners and away they go.

A Must Have Item
This is a must have item for us. When I was younger, I didn't mind chopping kindling, now I just light one of these and I can count on getting my wood stove or fire logs started easily without the fuss and mess.

These fire starters work very well i have used them for years.
I have used these before in our wood stove but the past couple of years they seem to be much harder to light. rt

Just terrific.
Just terrific. Use them routinely to start my wood-burning stove and fires in the fireplace. I also bought another type from Amazon -- can't recall the name -- flat cardboardy fire starters, promoted as green because they're recycled. Don't bother w/them, they are really hard to light and stay lit. Oh, and the Duraflame lighters? They're also made of recycled stuff, if that's meaningful to you.

These are the best!
I have tried many different firestarters and all fall short of Duraflame. The individually wrapped "light the wrapper" kind is the best, and were recommended by the workers who installed my wood stove insert.

Works very well
They light quickly and burn well, no need to use newspaper or other fire starters. I recommend highly.

Great product
Best firestarters around. They have increased significantly in price over the years, but still the best.
