Great budget cnc machine
Just got my cnc/ laser machine yesterday and putting it together was pretty simple and the instructions are easy to follow and tried out the test print included in the flash and worked great gonna start learning how to use the software and make my own prints soon

Worth the cost and effort to put together.
This is a great little machine. I am impressed with how well the carvings come out. I had some difficulty with getting the machine together, but it was worth the effort. I highly recommend watching you tube videos while putting this together. All in all, worth the cost.I would have given it 5 stars, but I really struggled to put it together.

Profoundly Disappointed
Update: Please read on for a review of the product but as of right now I am going through the tremendous PIA to disassemble and return this thing. Used it 3 times and now the probe input on controller is dead. Give me a day and this kit will be back on it's way to Amazon. With this kit being on the higher end of the 3018 models out there, I am extremely disappointed in the fit, finish and hardware.First the finish, the front, back and uprights are milled bakelite. Not terrible material but the edge finish is awful. Cut in multiple passes on a machine with play issues the edges are very rough and you can clearly see the depth cuts. Anodization on two pieces of the extruded aluminum was uneven on one end. The screw hardware is of mediocre quality. Overall, not the best quality all around. I know this is superficial but it nags at me every time I look at it.The fit is OK for the most part with some important exceptions, the holes for the linear rods on both the X and Y axis are slightly misaligned, probably due to the slop in the milling machine used to cut the bakelite. This causes the gantry and table to drag slightly on the one side. This robs much needed power which will be discussed next in the hardware. Then there is the hardware. I haven't tried the laser module but it appears to be a decent module but it is untested so far. The spindle motor under-delivers on RPMs by 30% according to my tach. The stepper motors are WAY undersized and drop steps if a fly lands on the table. OK, that is a little of an over statement but unless you plan on working with something other than wet tissue paper, these will stall and drop steps in a heartbeat. The provided tools are just for show, the hex wrenches will strip way too easy under the slightest pressure, as will the grub screws (another important part). Oh, and a nonfunctional part is that the case for the controller is missing a screw, shows lack of QA.Overall, this kit lacks quality in several key areas and I am debating on whether I hate enough to take hours out of my life to disassemble it and return it. After turning up the amperage on the controller and swapping out $40 worth of nema 17 stepper motors for X and Y, I have it working to some extent and it may be able to meet my need of milling PCBs so I may just live with it.To add one note of good in there, the handwheels for the 3 axis positioning is a great touch since this unit doesn't have homing switches. Of course I need repeatable positioning for milling PCBs so I will add homing switches and lock the motor position at idle anyway so I will never use them if I keep this kit.A little about me, I am not a beginner in the CNC world. Sitting at my workbench I can see 5 CNC machines and I build 4 of them. I have personally build 2 laser cutters, 3 3D printers, and 2 CNC routers. I have a mechanical engineering background. This is not the review of a real novice assembling this kit, I have experience and this is just a kit with questionable quality. If you pull the trigger on this one I hope your experience is better. Just set your expectations low that this is a beginner level toy and you will be fine (until the first time you destroy a project because the stock steppers tap out and drop steps in the middle of a job).

Pretty good..so far
Came with instructions and was very easy to put it together. So far is doing pretty well. Beginner and took a bit to figure the software out and how to use the laser bits. But overall, pretty good for the price.

Learning curve, but it's a fun learning curve.
Instructions weren't the greatest, but the company and many users out there have great YouTube videos to follow and get started. I played a little with the CNC routing and it worked well, but I was more interested in the laser engraving. As you can see in the attached pictures, they laser does a great job once you fine tune it and ensure you have a good product (picture) to import. I modifies the logo and it came out much better the 2nd time around. All in all, I think this was a great investment and I have a lot of learning and practicing to do. If you like designing your own things or even if you just want to find existing are to convert to laser print, I think you'll enjoy this laser/CNC engraver.

It is great
The product takes a little bit to set up, but it is great. My husband helps my son getting it ready. He is 12 years old and he loves it. They put all kinds of image on the wood pieces.Great priced comparing to the power.

Buy from a business that is in the same day you are.
It was packaged well. Assembly was a little different. I had to lay the book down and do things off the pictures. My main issue was the customer service being on the other side of the world. If I had a question, I would ask it today and not get an answer till tomorrow.

Great value!
Great machine for the money. I gave it 4 stars because of the clamps. The screws are loose and they are cumbersome.
