Easy Clean Retractable Bristles and Detangling Oval Brush for Curly, Straight and Thick Hair - Wet and Dry Hair - Pink

I have medium to long thick black hair. I brush my hair often and I hate cleaning my brush. My brush collects hair, lint, and residue every time. I was looking for a brush that was easy to clean so I gave this one a try.First off, this brush is ugly, the color and paint design. It feels like cheap plastic but I think it is because it is hollow by design. It is not a comfortable to brush my hair with as the bristles are thicker and stiffer than my favorite brushes and they are not on a cushion. However, it was obvious how practical this brush was. Because of my initial resistance I had to train myself to use this brush instead of reaching for my favorite brushes!Eventually, I made the permanent switch to using this brush. This brush is 100 times easier to clean than the standard hair brushes. It is as simple as retracting the bristles and the hair literally just falls off! It's just like the video. Sometimes the hair gets stuck, so you just shake it or gently wipe it off with your fingers. With wet hair, I just wait until the hair dries on the brush so it will just fall off when I retract.On all my past brushes, I would always get a mixture of lint, probably dead cells, and residue trapped on my bristles and the sides of the brush. That mixture of stuff would form a ring around the bristles. I would let it collect until it gets bigger because I am lazy to clean it off. I had to remove them with a needle to pull or break the rings off. It was gross. Surprisingly, these rings don't collect on this brush. Perhaps, it is because the bristles are thick? That's a huge bonus for me. I still get the residue on the bristles and the side and center of this brush but the retractable feature makes it easy to just wipe the residue. I occasionally, clean the bristles with soap and toothbrush or thin pipe cleaner. It would be nice to have a drain hole like on the top of the brush because water collects on the inside when I thoroughly clean it and shaking it only removes some of the water.This brush is durable. I brush my at least 3 times a day and I brush hard. (I try to give myself a head massage when I brush my hair.) I have used this brush for several months now and it still works great and no broken bristles.This brush makes an aspect of my life so much easier. Maybe work on improving the aesthetics of the brush but other than that, it is a fantastic and practical design and product. I am really grateful for it. I will be buying more.

I have been looking for years for a brush with this ones features. With thick hair one thing I always dreaded was the constant removing pulling and detangling of hair caught in the brush. With this one you pinch and push /pull and all the hair is removed it takes 2-5 seconds to completely remove all hair from the brush and your done as opposed to spending 30 minute to an hour to completely clean out a traditional brush. Another great feature of this brush besides easily removing hair would be you could completely clean the base of the brush when all hair brush bristles are down. With a clean face cloth I can wipe any and all residue off the brush without using any chemicals and it only takes a few seconds making it easy to fully clean your hair brush after every use in less than 10 seconds . I think all hair brush brands should make these hair brushes as an option to give people a variety of materials to choose from. These brushes are made of a standard hard plastic brush material with the bristles being firm with some flexibility they are much stronger bristles than the WET brand brushes, but I wouldn't mind metal options. I personally find these brushes very sturdy I have pinched the device and pushed and pulled rapidly and hard to test sturdiness and the brush shows no sign of wearing. I have used this brush a couple times a day for over two months now and it has not weakened. This brush deserves 5 stars despite the fact that one day I would like these brushes made of a variety of materials. To reiterate the materials they chose work and hold up and appear to be made of the same type of material most brushes in hair salons and stores are made of. I plan on getting more for family members when they become available.

The concept works well but the brush lacks a feel of quality. The main body is hollow (for the mechanism) which makes the whole thing feel too light. The bristles feel shallow and cheap too, not like a regular hairbrush that you can really massage your scalp with.

Brushes hair nicely and easy to clean

I have long/thick/easily tangled hair, so I always had hard time cleaning my hair brush. When I found this product, I was excited as it seems like to be the perfect solution to my issue. However, the product doesn't work well because it is cheaply made: 1) it is entirely hard plastic so when brushing, it feels really hard and uncomfortable, and it pulls on my hair a lot; 2) when you pulls the handle, it doesn't feel smooth. I had to put some force into it to actually pull it out; 3) because the tip of the brush doesn't pull out, hair are still tangled underneath it so cleaning is only slightly easier than a regular brush but still a bit of struggle.I gave it a three stars because I think the idea behind the product is great, but hopefully the producer of the product can invest more into it and make improvements so it becomes a brush that actually works.

I luv this brush…Bristles are just a little bit too stiff for me but I can deal with it. Very user friendly bristle retractors and easy to clean Works just as it says

The media could not be loaded. In terms of being on the more expensive end for self-cleaning brushes. This did not live up to the hype.The cheap, plastic-y feel made it clear that this hairbrush was not made to last as you could hear the rusty hinges squeak whenever the brush would stiffly pop open and closed.Since it was so cheaply made, it caused some hair breakage and for my hair to get caught beneath the part that pops out.For the price and the quality, it surely does not meet up to a high enough standards.Edit: Months later the seller has decided to attempt to charge my card for not returning this product even though I returned it for a refund. Be wary of scamming tactics from this seller! I wouldn’t even want to keep this piece of junk and now I have to go through Amazon customer service to resolve this while on vacation. Appalling and annoying.

I'm so happy human civilization made itI was dreaming about it for long! The product does its job well. Feels a bit too plastic, but still worth it

Is it rather expensive for a hair brush? Yes.Does it do exactly what it says and stops all dust and hair with minimal effort? Yes.Will you save money in the end by having one expensive brush rather than having to buy new ones and throwing tangled old brushes away? Yes.
