Gourd Colored Woven Elastic Band, 3-Yards (Brown, 2-Inch)

I was needing to make armbands for a play, but was low on time: there was no way I was going to manage to sew 10 fabric bands with either elastic or hook-and-loop tape, plus apply a patch to each. I found this wide, red elastic, and it was perfect! It’s very sturdy, a great red, and was easy to work with. Like any elastic, it can snag fairly easily, so be careful if you have to redo stitching. But this would make a great waistband for a skirt, armband pieces on gathered sleeves, legbands on costume or sweat pants; use your imagination!

This was the right size and perfect to attach to my back cushions so they don't fly off in the wind.

I used this to secure a chair cover that kept coming off of my recliner. It is perfect as it has the right amount of stretch and exact width needed for flexibility and coverage. Thank you for this great product and in the perfect color.

I ordered 3” width, which was on the package label, but the elastic is only 2” wide? Someone at the factory needs a ruler.

Width narrower than advertised. I bought this to adapt some slippers for my father, and the 3" width would have been perfect. Fortunately I have a serger and can work with a double width instead.

A waist extension to a very expensive pair of lady’s pants was required and this fit perfectly. A bonus was the colour, which was much preferred to the normal black.
