The round and square coil have different resistance values
Coil is good but like the low resistance on the primary coil to put in my Corvette Grand Sport when I believe the OEM specification calls for 0.5-1 ohms of resistance if not the car want run as intended as a high performance otherwise the ECU will not supply the program as designed, without having to change the programming, ALSO IN THE DESCRIPTION THE SPECIFICATION RESISTANCE SHOULD AND MUST BE GIVEN.

Bad Ignition Coils
Extremely disappointed with GM Tech support. My original ignition coils lasted 10 years. We get 8, yes 8 new OEM GM coils, two are damaged. Misfires on #3 and #5. Called their tech support to replace them, I have to justify why they should be replaced. Copy of invoice, phone number, email, and everything is done via email. This is for my Service vehicle I use for my business. We buy OEM GM to avoid hassles and issues. Autozone does a lifetime warranty on their coils just by simply adding our phone number. Please don’t waist your $$$$$ on these “OEM GM” parts. Should have, would have, could have but didn’t. Autozone here I come.

Last set was in my truck for about 60k miles. Only replaced them because I replaced spark plugs.
