Smart - ish
Hmmm..I have mixed feelings about this little phone. It is small, lightweight, and does all the basic stuff' that you'd expect of a mobile phone. I tend to use it for phone calls and texts and it copes with these admirably, having excellent reception at all times. However I have several quibbles. Firstly, the GPS is useless - is extremely slow to find satellites and when it eventually does it keeps dropping out with error messages "No GPS device!" or "waiting for a valid GPS signal" (and yes, I'm using it outdoors or in a car).Secondly, the stylus (which is frequently used as the screen is small and the on-screen keyboard tiny) is now difficult to pull out. The plastic ridges on the top have worn away and the damn thing is now too smooth to pull out. I often have to remove the back cover just to get the stylus out. This is after 7 months and I'm not a heavy phone user. The phone came with loads of Orange-branded stuff which I did manage to get rid of. The phone keeps trying to connect to some data service of its own volition - I had to disable it as I don't want a large bill. This message keeps popping up "programmes connect automatically as needed" - but I want to control them, I don't want it to decide for me!I think I'll be selling this in favour of something better soon.

Small, light, nice shape but powerful
This is a very nice compact smartphone with a nice shape and feel. It is light and easy to carry. It functions well with good reception and sound quality.Criticisms: It seems to connect to data unexpectedly and unknowingly and I find a larger than expected bill for this; I wish that in SMS & e-mail the screen would adopt a landscape mode; the keyboard is small and fiddly and requires the stylus but this is a corollary of its size. Basically very happy with it.

HTC Touch 3g
An excellent phone with the compact size is just right. Processor speed good enough to handle GPS mapping programs and graphics.RAM is adequate to handle the windows resources as well as running programs. The wifi and edge features work equally well. I am personally a bit surprised as to why this phone is grossly underrated compared to its very flashy and highly over priced competitors. A very practical feature leaden phone which works flawlessly.

Great value for money
The HTC Touch 3G is not only nice to look at but simple to use and enjoyable. It has very good sound quality when making calls, good for playing music as well. There are many apps available for it as well, one being Google Maps which allows you to use the built in GPS.The 3.2MP camera is decent enough and is good for when you are on the move.My only issue with the phone was minor, was when I first got it and it was full of Orange branded rubbish which prevented me from using the WiFi but a quick google search can sort that out if the same problem arises for you.All in all, a very good little phone and well worth the money compared to the more expensive HTC phones.
