Good value!
Came across several flashlights with the old style filament bulbs that my dad had saved. One single AA, a 4D lantern and a 4D flashlight. Threw in some batteries and while they all worked I had forgotten just how dim and battery hungry that type of flashlight is. All 3 of these bulbs are a direct fit, and are considerably brighter and whiter than the old school bulbs. I upgraded to rechargeable batteries and all 3 bulbs continued to shine bright with the reduced voltage. These inexpensive bulbs allowed me to revitalize 3 flashlights from 1974 specs to 2024 specs.

Very bright bulbs!
I use these in two and three cell Maglites. I'm really impressed at the light these things produce. Great value for the money!

Not suitable for 2 cell flashlights
I was hoping this would perform like nite izes 2-4 cell drop in but this one doesn't work for 2d like.

Pros: Works perfectly in both 3 and 4 D Cell MagLite Flashlights, Easy to install, VERY Bright.Cons: NoneBest Use: Update Old 3 an 4 D Cell MagLite FlashlightsObservations: These are a significant upgrade to my 3 and 4 D Cell MagLite Flashlights and were very affordable. They are super easy to install and brought my Old Flashlights up-to-date, along with radically increasing the brightness and clarity of the old flashlights. Unfortunately, I don't know how long good alkaline batteries last with them, since I have not had to replace the batteries yet. I will try to update this after my first battery change.

Don't Work
First one didn't work. The other two lasted like 20 seconds and they only come on very dim. Tried in different Flash lights and still the same. Spend a little extra and get better bulbs.

Reverse polarity on lamp
Typically the pin of the lamp is negative so if it during work on your flashlight put the batteries in backwards.

Super bright
Used in restoration of 90 year old Winchester 2in1. works very well, I just have to put the batteries in backwards. 3 D cell/4.5 volt. one picture is original Edison Mazda bulb.
