If one has disposable income for a flash light, this is a good flash light to have. I live in a rural area with low lighting and I needed a serious light to see what wild life was on my property at night. The options were either night vision (decent models being $1000+ or a seriously bright flash light $300)I researched higher lumen amounts, and this flash light made the list, so I purchased it.The pros: Exceedingly bright. This is a portable spot light it is so bright. If an animal has this shined in their face, it will turn its head due to how bright it is. I felt like I was calling down the Sun. The light has different levels of brightness, and at its brightest setting, it only has an hour of use, so make a note if wanting to use its highest output setting. This torch has a bit of weight on it and feels solid, but It comes with a strap should one need to carry it. It includes a special battery and a car charger for your vehicle if one wishes to keep it there.The cons: Noting the bright setting can eat a battery rather quickly, that needs to be taken into consideration. The documentation is a bit lacking as well. Note the picture of the batteries in the picture (the small green ones). I don't even know what their purpose is. The larger black cylinder at the top right in the picture is its actual battery, of which one needs to remove to plastic/rubber washers before use.The battery must be charged several hours before it is used (par for the course for most electric devices). That being said, I really like the product so far, but it will take a bit of use before I feel like I am more comfortable at either increasing or decreasing the review.

Really like it! Very bright. Good battery life. Does get hot if you use the brightest mode but will last a good long while with full charge.

This monster cost a pretty penny but it has already paid dividends in cool points. During Hurricane Irma I was able to find a car that had gone off the road into the woods when normal spotlights came up empty. Walking out to your car at night? This thing will illuminate the whole parking lot- just sweep the beam. Nothing can hide from this light. It turns night into day. I have found lost keys and many other things when all hope had been lost. Point this at a suspicious person and he will run for cover and will wonder what hit him. It will freeze an aggressive dog in its tracks. You might even be able to send an SOS to some being in a faraway galaxy. though it may take a few light years for it to rescue you. Buy it and have some fun. You will not be disappointed.

Very impressive performance however the batteries stopped charging within 6 month of the purchase. Definitely I do not recommend.The unit was purchased in July 2016. Batteries stopped charging in January 2017.

I don't write too many reviews, so I wanted to test this pricey torch for a bit before reporting (purchased 12/2016). I rely a lot on other's reviews before purchasing many products. I will say that I own many Fenix and Olight flashlights. So many that my wife says I have a flashlight fetish, and I really can't disagree. This flashlight is well made, by far the brightest and farthest reaching light I own and the battery life is excellent. If you are seeking a true torch, this is the light. It is heavy and even comes with a shoulder strap but it is awesome!

If you need a bright light this is it. Well made with quality material. It is HEAVY, but the included shoulder strap makes it a breeze to carry. one switch cycles through the different light intensity settings (5), turn it off from the setting you want it to open up to the next time you turn it on and it recalls that setting. The SOS and Strobe modes work off the other switch. I carried a streamlite for years, this is made every bit as well as it, and the brightness blows everything else out of the water!

No customer service on this light. They say call Fenix.

best light I've ever owned right next to the other smaller Fenix light I'll only buy Fenix flashlights hands down great flashlight company as a matter of fact I'm going to order a head light from Fenix I know ir will be a great light .if I would have known about this company sooner and stopped buying these knockoff brands I'd have saved a ton of money .Thanks Fenix for a great product
