Non Slip Purse Strap and Shoulder Bag Gripper Accessory NEW LARGE SIZE

This solved the problem of the slipping shoulder strap on my leather messenger bag. My order was processed quickly and I got it right away. Good service. I gave four stars because I think this item is priced too high and the flat shipping rate of $4.50 is ridiculous. This package is a pair of adhesive plastic strips with a non-slip coating. They stick to the underside of the shoulder strap and they are transparent so you aren't introducing a color. Nice idea. Still, these are pieces of plastic. The two strips are presented on a cardboard piece, about the size of a paperback book. It is flat and fits in a large envelope...this costs $4.50 to mail? I know, you have to cover some overhead for picking and packing but this is still too high. Of course, the ease of shopping on Amazon sure beats running around town trying to find a retail outlet that carries a similar product.

I used this product for a shoulder bag that I love, but which was infuriating to use due to its constantly slipping and sliding off of my shoulder, especially when trying to make good time between airport terminals. The Hideagrip was the perfect solution. I thought it was somewhat pricey, but after seeing how it worked on my bag I really didn't care. Worth every penny.

Sticks for awhile. But then you pick up your purse and a bit of use and it peels off completely as you remove the strap from your shoulder. Nice idea. Just does not continue to work.

Works perfectly. Gets better the longer you use it too. It would be good to add the inches of width and length to the product description. It fit my purse strap nicely!

Attached them to leather purse straps and after a week they were falling off. The silicone strip detached from the adhesive and left a sticky mess which was very difficult to remove. luckily it didn't damage the strap. Good concept but they don't stay on so therefore do not work. Total waste of money.

I had heard of this before and considered getting it a few times but just kept putting it off. On black Friday night I had my hands full, trying to move among the crowd and kept getting irritated by my purse slipping off my shoulder. The whole day the only thing that irritated me was the stupid slipping bag. The last purchase for the day was Hide-a-grip. It arrived a few days later. I had to wait a day to go get rubbing alcohol to put it on the purse strap (didn't have any in the house and wanted to be sure it worked well.) It went on easily. I've been very happy since.My bag slips off from time to time but that has more to do with the coat and not being on my shoulder right in the first place. 2 months later, it continues to be as effective as it was the first time i put it on.
