I am a DIY painter - not a pro and this paint was so good it has made me look better than I am!I used an HPLV Devilbiss gun with a 1.3 tip on a 3/8" line from a compressor capable of sustaining a 9 cubic feet airflow, spraying at 20 PSI - temp 75%, over a white primer/sealer.I used it to repaint my motorcycle - a cruiser that I've converted into a bagger (no rear seat or top bag). So there is nothing behind the rider to detract from the paint. Which means the paint had better be worthy of looking at!I expected to need 2-3 coats to get a really deep purple color and was shocked to find the first coat was not only a beautiful, deep purple, but that the pearl is so good that it's almost a metalflake. It is brilliant at all times but lights up even more in the sun. I ended up with 3 coats, wetsanded, and then 2 more with clearcoat on top.In it's first week back on the road the bike has had more than a dozen unsolicited compliments from bystanders when it parked.This paint is top quality. Smooth and flowing, it feeds well and blows well with excellent adhesion - at least if you prep the surface well. The only thing to watch for is to take a long time to stir it and bring all that metal off the bottom of the can before adding the hardener and loading your spray gun. I learned to watch behind the stir stick for dark lines; keep stirring as long as they are there! When it's thoroughly mixed the color becomes very constant.It is a great and perfectly named product - dark enough to be purple (not lavender) and crazy rich in pearl coat.Highly recommend it.

It’s only blue up close and in direct sunlight. It looks black 95% of the time. It shot well and layed smooth. Only 4 stars and not 5 because it had ALOT of GUNK in the bottom that wouldn’t shake out. (Yes I used a machine to shake it) so I lost some paint that I Needed. It’s decent paint for the price.

Is was an amazing paint and all that was sold as the kit I did my truck and my opion looks really good came with strainers the ratio paint sticks and the thinner i think but what could make this kit a little bit better was if it came with the measuring cup but thos are a dollar at walmart

Great color, but the paint was like water, and being so thin very difficult to cover!

Not bad. Wish my cans didn’t all show up smashed or heavily dinged, but no spilled paint so that’s good. Color was consistent over multiple gallons (I used 12 in the end) and shipping was faster than initially proposed.

Beautiful color. Make sure you get a mixer on your drill to mix it correctly. Lays down nice. I laid it too quick and had some runs.
