ATP TF-189 Automatic Transmission Filter Kit

This is a very well known and used brand of AT filters. Have used them for many years.

Simply, the filter is equivalent to what the vehicle came with from the factory and the gasket lined up. I really can't say much else. I will point out that if you torque to the rated 12ft lb's, the gasket does get squeezed out quite a bit. That's alright though because it's a relatively thick gasket and that's better than too thin. After the fluid change I have no leaks, so, 5 star.

Fit perfectly. My only concern was that the fiber gasket seemed to deform around the bolts when I torqued it down. I only put 8 ft-lbs on it but it didn't leak so I guess everything is fine. I think I will try a different material for the gasket next time - it made me nervous seeing the gasket compress expand out around the bolts....

I replace my transmission fluid and filter any time I buy a used car. I have used this filter and gasket several times and never had a problem.

FILTER HAS TEMP SENSOR AND GASKET SEALS GOOD.

Fit Mazda 3, 2006. Just had to break the seal on the old liquid gasket and replace.Before you replace ensure you drain the transmission fluid.Then replace the filter (just clipped) no tools needed to take filter off and replace.

The quality seems great no issues.
