We used this for a group of 11 in ibiza. Quick and easy to assemble and as long as you follow the advice of stretching the shade out as far as you can and over filling the bags with sand, it does stand up to a moderate sea breeze. I was surprised we were the only ones on the beach with this type of sun shade. It does take up quite a bit of beach space due to the footprint of the stretched out legs, so might be less suitable on small or packed beaches. But more robust than a parasol. Easy and light to carry in the bag. Quite expensive for what the product is, but so far feels like the quality will last. My relatives use a much more expensive Australian beach shade back home and even they were impressed by the sun ninja.

We love our new Sun Ninja Beach Tent. Easy to set up, heaps of shade and easy to pack up. Was initially a little worried about the large size of the 8 man... Would definitely recommend. We are a family of 4 and the 8 man is perfect without being too obnoxious. Forget Cool Cabanas.....the Sun Ninja is where it's at!

Fantastic product! Used on the lake and beaches for 3 years so far and it's still going strong. It's very easy to pack up and takes a few minutes to set up. It packs up very small and is easy to throw in the car. A much better option and cheaper than other sun protection. Having a bigger shovel on hand to help fill up the sand bags is helpful too.

As a redhead I need shade. It’s not an option. I absolutely love the beach so bringing shade is just required. The SunNinja was a perfect option for travel/flying. It’s light weight and easily added to a checked bag or as a carry on. At first I was not a fan of this tent. Assembly takes a little bit of time but when they say lots of sand in the pouches it’s true. Think it’s full?? Nope add mores-and then add even more. Now I didn’t give it a full 5 stars because we had to do some rigging with the bungees. No wind no problem!! It worked great until the wind picked up and that’s when we had to start troubleshooting. The flaps on the side get caught in the wind and causing it to fall down. I attached pics but to get the wind to not drag and pull the poles down we had to wrap the bungees around the poles and make the tent more “flat”. We did 2 and 4 poles and honestly with tons of sand, the bungee trick & 4 poles it worked the best on the windy beach. We were at a crowded beach and were able to observe lots of shade options. The only other one I considered “better” would be the sun parachute type (in the background of the pics) only because they were able to set up in no time! The noise might be annoying from those sails and it is super expensive. Once we got our SunNinja up is worked just great with zero flapping noise;). Every now and then I did have to readjust the poles but with all tents there is some adjustment needed throughout the day. We will be adding a second shovel to the bag to help speed up that set up! This redhead still needed sunscreen but on a hot day this shade was 100% worth it!
