Just enough but perfect for my use.
I use this in weather that is 35F or warmer and it was fine with added thermal clothing. In "most" cases, evening temps do not require full bag enclosure so keeping comfortable body temp requires easy night time adjustment. This is perfect. I have always hated fighting with zippers when the bag twists up and rolls with my body. This stays put with snaps that clip to the sleeping pad and I can stick feet out (no zippers) when hot. The synthetic material is great; very good thermal performance and water repellent design has no moisture issues in a high humidity tent! Love it.

Great Option For The Ultralight Hiker!
As I am always looking for a way to reduce weight and bulk from my pack, I bought two of these blankets and used them in lieu of a sleeping bag during a hike last weekend. Though it was pretty chilly at night (it got down to around freezing), the two blankets kept me warm. Don't get me wrong, if I hadn't had my fleece hoodie and an extra pair of wool socks, I probably would have been uncomfortable, but given all of the room I saved by not having to carry a sleeping bag, I can't help but feel that it was totally worth the trade-off!

Check the dimensions....it is not as long as advertised.
I own one of the older tech blankets, and wanted to try this as it is advertised as 75" long. My current tech blanket is outstanding.....except for the fact that it is way too short for a normal size person (I am 5 ft 9). I got it, and sure enough, it is not as long as advertised. This blanket should reach just over my head, it barely reaches my chin. This is deceptive advertising. Check the reviews for the older tech blankets and they had the same issue. This is incredibly frustrating as the blanket is outstanding for summer camping and works great for with the Thermarest system, but for the love of pete, please just add another foot to the length. Now I have to return it.

Amazing Camping or Travel Blanket!
This blanket kept me warm in India near the Himalayas over a long trip. It was lightweight, easy to pack and comfy. I would definitely recommend this blanket.

Great product, Needs a Smaller Stuff Sack
Great product; love that it can convert to mummy-style, keeps heat in, & comfortable. I just REALLY wish it had a smaller stuff sack. The blanket can be compacted much more than the large stuff sack, so my solution was to put other things in the stuff sack along with the blanketl to maximize space in my pack.

Light weight and less volume to pack
Certainly light weight and compact. As advertised, it keeps body heat in. The only thing to be aware of, it slides around a lot at night. No big deal when I consider the weight and volume I’m saving on a long bike tour.

Great Blanket
Great blanket! Really nice in the fall - I am used to using an old Army Poncho liner - this seems far more efficient at keeping in some heat. I may switch out to just this blanket in the summers.

Great product in a long line of great products
Super comfy and soft, makes a pillow when in its satchel, easy to clean. I bought my first TAR blanket 14 years ago and it's still awesome.

Great bit of kit, great value - lightweight and waterproof
I brought this to use inside a bivy bag/tarp or my tent while backpacking/long distance walking in the summer. I love the fact it’s just over 500g and it’s waterproof and won’t get affected by condensation or wet weather. Getting down bags wet is just not fun, I don’t get on get with sleeping bags in warm weather, they are just too warm and restrictive. This quilt allows a more comfortable sleeping experience, more natural sleep - like being at home with a quilt. It does not absorb water, it’s warm, comfortable, a bit crinkly, but that’s because of the heat reflective material that keeps you warm. It packs small and squash’s even smaller.I am very happy with it, warm, comfortable, well made, lightweight and won’t absorb water - Perfect

Warm and so light
Love the warmth of the blanket and that it is waterproof. I use it in my camper van as a top cover for my sleeping bag.

Wrong specs
Blanket has a very good quality material, unfortunately it barely reaches 180 cm whereas the specs state 190 cm!!!Too short for me, i'm 6 f. I have to return it.Very disappointed

A bit expensive and not very long but very versatile
I have a high quality lightweight down sleeping bag (an old PHDesigns minim 300, about 600g) which I have been comfortable in a few degrees below 0C. It's too warm for summer use and not warm enough for the bottom end of UK winter conditions. Roll in the Proton. It goes nicely over the down bag keeping the dew-point or frost-point outside the down and adding some water resistance and when packed in combination for travelling gives me a huge comfort range (+25C to -10C I'd estimate). The combined weight of the two is not much over the kilo. When I don't need it to boost the down bag it's an excellent pillow stuffed into its own pocket; when I do need it, it's a lot more weight & bulk efficient than a fleece liner or extra clothing. I can also use it under my hammock with a bit of care in rigging it. Used in that manner it cuts out the windchill of and creates a cosy nest.My main criticisms are that it's not quite as long as it should be for the size and it doesn't come supplied with any convenient closure system. I've added a few grammes of elastic cord salvaged from retired backpacks which holds it in place under my sleeping mat but there's no sewn-in loop at the top of the bag so it's tricky to keep it wrapped snuggly around your neck & shoulders.Overall a very handy addition to my sleeping kit and will also be in the bottom of my winter mountain daypack for emergencies along with a bothy shelter or bivvy bag. Pricey compared to, say, the very practical Snugpak Jungle Blanket, Black which would serve a similar purpose on a budget but also quite a lot lighter and water resistant.
