It was good but didn't have the flavor that I was hoping for.

I was overall satisfied with this sauce flavor. I wish I could buy it as a 4 pack for a little cheaper per jar though, it's rather more than I usually spend on pasta sauce. It would also be nice if instead of using bubble wrap, you used recyclable molded paper pulp clamshell to protect the jars.I like super lemon-y things and this is definitely the most lemon-y pasta sauce I've ever had but still not quite lemon enough. I fix that by adding extra lemon juice. Some other things that are nice to add include spinach, basil, parsley, black pepper, other types of peppers, more garlic, more onion, and feta cheese also ups the tartness. It coats pasta well and is thick not runny. It's filling and satisfying and so, good when you want to eat a small portion of pasta.

I LOVE this authentic sauce! It’s the perfect balance of sweet and savory. I’ve used it on pizza, pasta, and even on its own as a dipping sauce with a crisp baguette.Growing up in an Italian household was a blessing because I always had sauce on hand. Mom + nana would spend hours every Sunday perfecting the best sauce for the family. Unfortunately, I don’t always have the time to make it at home. I work as a chef and when I come home I want meal prep to be as simple and delicious as possible. The Amatriciana has all of the right flavors and tastes just like my family used to make it. The other day I made a quick turkey bolognese with spaghetti and used the amatriciana as the base. It was perfection. My go-to sauce!

I love a good pasta with a lemon sauce, but this was way too tart. Expensive too!

This is fantastic! Fixed it with large scallops and giant shrimp with linguini; rave reviews. Word of warning, the sauce is very thick. I used two jars of this and one of regular cream Alfredo. I still ended up adding about 1/3 cup heavy cream to thin. Used two pounds scallops and two pounds shrimp plus 1 1/2 boxes linguini. Fed nine adults, 4 of them teens.

Spoiled jar One of the jars has a yellow ring on the top of the jar, The rest of the jar has empty spots thru it and I am afaird to open it. The other jar seems fine. Would like a replacement for the one jar.
