Made my decoupage permanent
Being new to crafting, I got into making multi-tiered tidbit trays from glass plates, a glass candle holder, a napkin and some paint. What was missing was the correct mod podge. I had to be super careful about washing. That is until someone told me about this product. Game changer. While I can now sell my products for some pocket change there are some drawbacks that you should be aware of. The smell is really bad so use in well ventilated areas. While the initial drying time is quick, the curing time is several days. Don’t get it wet until it has cured. Price was good. I can live with the drawbacks as they are not a hard stop for me.

Great sealer, best price on Amazon
I bought this to use on some glass crafting projects, and the first thing you need to know is that Amazon has the absolute best price on this formula. I checked around, and it's much more expensive at local retail stores. The product itself works exactly as advertised. It brushes on smoothly. It does not have a strong odor (just a standard "glue" smell). It does look a bit milky when wet, but it dries down to a beautiful, hard, clear gloss finish. I will say if you aren't careful, you will get brush strokes (try using a makeup brush or sponge to avoid this). Keep in mine that cure time is 28 days for top-rack dishwasher safe protection! I will definitely restock here when I run out.

10/10 recommend! So easy to use!
This was my first time using mod podge and it was a great experience! It worked as expected and was able to waterproof my project and make it look nice and slightly shiny! It was a very cost effective way of sealing my artwork and making sure it won’t get ruined by water. The process of using it was very simple as I just followed the instructions and waited for it to dry before doing more coats! Overall was so simple and easy! I can’t wait to use it for my future projects!

Not water resistant at all but great for puzzles
Originally bought it to paint mugs. Used modge podge after using acrylic paint on mugs. Followed all the directions to try to make sure I was doing so correctly in terms of number of layers, curing time, etc. They cured for over a month before being run through the dishwasher (top rack). Dishwasher totally destroyed the decorations on the mugs. Was not a fan of modge podge. However, later, I had two puzzles to try to glue for hanging. One had already been glued to a backboard but the puzzle glue really didn't work and the backboard peeled right off, as did much of the puzzle. So I figured I had a ton of modge podge left. Put down some wax paper and used a rubber brush to spread modge podge on the front and back of the puzzle (two layers on each side, drying then rotating between layers--change wax paper as needed too). Worked very well. No backer board needed at all. If you plan to hang it on hooks, 4 layers is great. If you plan to stand a puzzle up freestanding, you will need more layers or a backboard, as it will bend, especially the 1000 piece or larger sizes. Learned the hard way. I was able to finish two puzzles using most of the bottle since I had only otherwise used the bottle for two mugs. Since modge podge redeemed itself in this manner, I may buy more later. Wish it would have worked for the mugs though.

Fixed my sticky guitar case issue
I had an older Fender guitar anniversary case that got real sticky. I read on a forum that Mod Podge would work great if I applied a couple of coats on the exterior sticky parts of the case. I have to say it did a perfect job. The case is no longer sticky, and you can't even see where I applied the coating. I highly recommend this for anyone with an issue like mine.

Swear by it....
The drying time is great if you do thin layers at time. Takes a bit longer the thinker it is. But what isn't like that? Size of the bottle is perfect for me. I don't use it as much as I used to so more than this would probably go bad. If u do a lot of crafting, u might get more than one or a larger size if they have that option available. Very easy to use. If u don't mind the lines a paint brush is great. I use a silicone brush to eliminate most so the texture is unnoticable. But sometimes I don't mind the lines. And use can use sponge brushes as well. They work great too. Dries clear and almost no oder. Can def use in doors in an unventilated area. It truly is amazing.

Venis
